Probably not to you. But if you can muster a constructive and intelligent argument as to why hills are OP, they will look at it. They'll still dismiss it as outright lunacy, but they'd look at it.

ProTip: You've got a better chance of proving hills are OP than you do proving private matches being premium is pay to play.

Define "listen" , For example by "listen" do you mean PGI reads over suggestions, complaints and other feed back and take the ones they feel have merit under advisement? Or by "listen" do you mean you tell PGI what to do and they do it? Because when I read some of the posts I'm pretty sure some people mean that PGI should do what they tell them to when they ask "do they listen"

it does seem like anything they don't want to hear ends up in here ?

and yes I was referring to private matches ... having to be premium members to stand a chance of getting a server and the more "premium members" you have better the chance of a server .... does that mean that if you've not got any "premium members" you're not going to get a server or even have the option for a private match...because if it is, then in my eyes that's pay to play ? I'm not a hater of this game just more
worried that its focus seems to be more about money than making to game good...

I hope that you find this post ..more constructive

I'm more awake ... and a little less angry

Nope, lots of critical

threads in the forums.

This is where bad, pointless

threads go to be improved.

That is a much better post. Keep that quality and you'll find more of your threads surviving.

Having said that, I didn't read it as Pay to Play, I saw it as Pay for Priority. Servers cost money, and sharding off a server for private matches... well, I don't have an issue with premium time getting priority space on the private servers, they're paying for the server, one way or another, and it's not that Free Players won't be able to play on it, they just have to wait a little bit longer.

Company has to make money some way, and it seems like of all the items, Premium is the cheapest with the greatest rewards. This is not that big of a deal IMO

I remember being poor.

I hated those days. I would have complained about having to spend money on a video game too.

I guess it depends on how long you have to wait ...I use premium so for me may not be to much of an issue.
we'll have to see how its implemented in the game. I do think that pgi should be more open .... and communicate a little better with the fan base ... its fair that they make money. I've spent a lot on this games and have enjoyed playing it, there have been a few things I don't agree with. but as a whole I keep playing... i feel like the progress of the game is very slow ...and have seen drop in players ... i don't want to see this game fail

First, it's refreshing to see you rethink your original argument and take the time to lay out your thoughts more constructively. I'm sure we've all been guilty of posting when we're feeling a little heated, but almost always, cooler heads prevail.

I agree with parts of what you say. I don't want to see the game fail. I don't think anyone wants to see this game fail. Well, maybe the bitter angry troll people want to see it fail, but those are the folks that beat their animals for fun.

Regarding the private match system, the whole entire concept is a challenge. On one hand, the community totally needs it for unit training and 3rd party league play. On the other hand, the creation of private matches, no matter how simple it is to achieve(it's really not), it takes several members of an already small development team off of whatever their working on to both create and maintain the new system.

Even if it's only 25% of the time, for a small development team, that's a lot of resources and time. It also has the secondary negative effect of potentially splitting the community into people that only play private for training or league play, and those that only play public/CW matches. Finally, private matches cost in the form of dedicated servers. Servers cost in both money and maintenance cycles. Not to mention upkeep.

For all of those reasons, its necessary to establish a priority system to help encourage Public and CW matches for regular play as well as to justify the added cost of running dedicated servers for private play. It's less pay to play, or even pay for priority, than it is pay for privilege.

I hope that helps you see another side of the coin.

Thanks but this would have been more appropriate to leave in the Official Feedback threads which were linked in the Command Chair posts: http://mwomercs.com/...tches-feedback/

I think he might be talking about the proposed fee for forming Merc companies . I for one am in favor of a fee for creating a unit/company, it will prevent players from flooding the game with one man companies.

But, I have been accused many times of being a one-man army. I might as well formalize it. :)

Unfortunately, fixing hit boxes won't resolve hit registration. The two are not related. However, hit boxes getting polished up will make registered hits make more sense.

For my part, I only very rarely experience hit registration issues but I can understand how it would be maddening if it were a regular issue.

Well done gentlemen.

We've improved this thread beyond my furthest expectations.

Heffay is getting a 3 way with his wife and a 24 yr old version of Brittney Spears, while the OP has mastered the English language beyond a 5th grade level in the matter of 6 posts.

I'm taking you all out for a slice of cake on me.
