How much would it tax the current infrastructure to implement a more dynamic map spawn system? Having a bunch of different spawn points would really shake things up in game and make it just that more enjoyable. If it is not on the drawing board it might be a good suggestion to bring up at the next meeting.

Mods are NOT DEVS. I doubt the Devs receive even 1/1000th of the suggestions we send because the MODS (who work for IGP) don't deem them worthy of being sent along. I Smell a strong Bioware/EA Games (SWTOR) synergy starting to happen here.

Oh I know that Mods are different but they do talk eventually. Just a feeble attempt to pass along an idea that I think would help MWO out.

I personly detest the new spawn locations and conquest capping point locations.
People who had no idee what to do before now aimlessly wander around like lost sheep, base camp in open terrain or just get instantly picked off because the spawn point has no cover near it for over 600 meters and in plain sight.

I dont really get the feeling allot of thought was given to the locations of most of these points because they simply dont make any sense at all, on alpine peak conquest 4 of the cap points are down in a valley really close to each other and can best be described as a murder pit.

far from those points there is little to call random about these points because since the change i ALWAYS spawn on the same side of the maps and most of the time at the same exact spawn point for that team aswell.

My advice would be to stop forcing people into the fights you wish and give the choice of where to go and waht to do back to the players by going back to the old spawn points and cap locations.

That's my favorite place to spawn on that map. Makes for a nice start to the match. You have the choice to move to rendezvous with the rest of your team or take positions to attack the opposing lance. The composition of your lance often indicates which is the safest course of action. It sounds like you just prefer the murder ball approach. I don't.

I do like the new spawns.

You see more lances acting like lances rather than just 'everyone mosh up in a ball'.
