just saying....with new spawn points you need team play..which is non existent without a good communcation system IN GAME !
if before the patch you could get decent pug games when everyone stayed in formation and at least tried to do something coordinated...now even those rare games are broken...

From another post of mine:

Last point, is in game VOIP. The C3 thing was fail in closed beta, we used the original EU Comstar TS server. Teamspeak is great, free, easy to maintain a block list if you need one, which, you don't. The hosted TS servers are NOT in any way like xBox chat.
The excuses for people to NOT get Teamspeak amaze me.
* I shouldn't need a 3rd party app - true, but, the provided VOIP is crappe, so, why not get in the game?
* I don't want to hear all the 12 year olds - false... I have yet to run into any 12 year olds on the popular hosted public servers. IF you do, you right click on their name, choose Add to Blocked List, done.
* I can't run MW and Teamspeak together - most can, it's on your end.
* I shouldn't need VOIP to play this game - you don't, but it's a team game, and teams are using it. Wanna grow in the game, maybe a little faster? Get in Teamspeak, at least until (IF) they get a real in-game VOIP going. Or, be stepping stones for those of us who DO use VOIP.

Tons of excuses. Question is, do you want to pick up your game? Be on the winning end of those stomps? Oh, and by the way, not every VOIP match goes to a stomp .....

So, we'll bypass EXISTING solutions to hold on principle? I DO agree, in game is needed, but it's currently *****, and a wonderful alternative exists.....

That's what I don't get .......and have ZERO sympathy for those too thick to make their own difference.

Uh just hop into the game and try to give orders as company or lance commander. Most people on your team will ignore you. This is especially prevalent during off peak hours.

Not very convincing.

The problem w/ TS (as a person who uses it every night) is that it's hard to bring new players around to the idea of loading it up. New players just don't like the idea of it. The more in-game communication that happens "in-game", the better.

ENSAINE yup that matches the logic in your post!

If I come on to play for a bit and do not belong to a group and I just drop in to a lance for a game and all the other players in that lance are doing the same thing as I am. IT WOULD JUST BE NICE TO BEABLE TO TALK TO THE LANCE! So we could fight as a team. NOW HOW DOES <TS> WORK HERE? ?Ensaine?

In game voice would solve that in a heart beat.

It would help if you jump into any of the public TS servers (like the NGNG or Comstar servers) and join one of their many 4-man groups.

a first step would be, that people realize that it is utterly stupid to try and run back to the blob. Often a team loses 2 or 3 heavy hitters because they are left allone by the faster ones, wo want to cuddle with the other 2 lances.

That has nothing to do with any language barrier. Most people (myself included) don't really want to spend the time trying to open the correct chat channel and type whilst trying to get into a position with the rest of the team. Not all of us can type a billion words a minute so this is a massive hindrance (Well it is to me anyway). So basically you will find most are just saying to themselves, "Screw acknowledging that, I'm following this lot."

I couldn't agree more. I use the NGNG server which has many public access rooms placed there for this very purpose. Drop into a room by yourself if you're a little self concious and you'll see people joining you or inviting you to join their group all the time. Hell scroll down to the VMC merc room if you want and if you see me there solo'ing up then feel free to drop in and say hi.
