Lots of people in matches seem to complain about the READY button. It is actually a very rare general queue match that doesn't have at least one person, forget to hit READY.
So while it appears the Developers like the feature, and I'm sure in more organized game play, it could be useful, I think it would benefit the general community to allow for an options setting that lets you 'Auto Ready' when you go into a Match. If you are a player not seeking to make any leadership control gabs or anything, then this feature would be nice to assure that you are always READY as soon as possible.
Community, let me know what you think about this idea and if you would help support this change to get general matches moving a bit more quickly.

Ready button is completely useless. I believe i read somewhere that they were gonna take it off, so there's really no point in having it. It's like wasting time and manpower with useless and rusted features, like 3PV.

I dont give a frak about "READY" button, do You OP think this is that important now? when we have lack of CW, no Clan Invasion, no lobby screen, ghost heat from moon, gauss rifles with stupid charge mechanics, click-fest-blip UI 2.0 that PGI wont change for sure - and all we see in main page is another Hero Mech sale or damn colour pattern discount. Dont You see PGI is milking us - the community, giving nothing in return. The REady button is last thing i would consider annoyance...

Oh like they are the only MMO that milks people I mean really? Maple Story is a good example free to play but optional stuff to milk people for cash. Thats really a bad poke at PGI im sure.

It's a tiny inconvenience in the grand scheme of things. The devs have better things to spend time one.

Ahh, c'mon.
Sure, not everything PGI does is the best way of doing something (like gauss-charge), but overall they do a good job and i don't feel milked. It's my choice if the current sales are worth my money or not. And if no one would by that stuff, PGI would do other sales. So obviously it's the community who want such sales and PGI serves them. Believe me, PGI has lots of data to exactly analyse which sales are good and which are bad. And they will keep doing the profitable ones. Everyone would do so.
CW is a huge feature and it's kinda cheap to complain about how long it takes. When a dev is pressured to much to release something, it will most likely fail. Publishers for instance do this quite often, and i've seen many games go down the drain when this happens. So i suggest to just give them as much time they need. I don't want features released too early because of high community pressure...
BTW: Ghost Heat was something the community (or at least parts of it) wished to reduce boating. The problem with communities is that they are not one big voice. In fact every member of a community has it's own thoughts on the perfect game. I guarantee you that PGI collects lots of hard data every time we play. And you would be surprised how often this data is contrary to the opinion of this forum community which consists of only a few 100 players who regularly write here.
The vast majority of players is unheard. And i think that PGI is smart enough to listen to those who don't speak.
And this of cause leads to features neither you or me wanted. We are not the entire community, as hard as it sounds :-)
