Hi all!

I was playing this game on my old rig, which had a 3 year old i5 and a single 6950 on it - played really well! On low settings got my 40-50 fps.

so recently I upgraded my CPU to an updated i5 (I forgot the version), upgraded the Mother Board and got another 6950 crossfired in.

I ran MWO for the first time and decided to hit up the highest graphics mode and see what happens; I noticed a lot of flashing of certain objects in the game, and a very annoying stutter that was constant. Also my frames were in the 30-45 range.

I am concerned that crossfiring my cards has hindered me in a way. Can I get some advice on what to do to fix this issue, or if it is a known issue and there is a fix?

Any help would be appreciated.

note; the computer in no way shape or form has a single component bottlenecking its performance. It is even loaded on an SSD drive for optimal performance and the machine gets a 7.9 windows rating.

I don't believe Crossfire and SLI have actually been implemented yet. Try disabling Crossfire and see what happens. I have read on the forums though that some people have Crossfire working so maybe dig a little deeper into the forums might help you out. I'm running an i5 2500K @ 4.2GHz and a HD 6850 with 8G DDR3 1333 system memory and it runs MWO just fine at medium settings at 1080p. If I turn down the resolution to 720p I can boost the settings to high with no problems.

1, In the latest version of Catalyst, force Crossfire in games that don't have a crossfire profile.
2. Then create an application profile for MWO that forces "AFR Friendly" and Anti-Aliasing mode to "Use application settings."
3. Play in "Full Screen" mode, not full-window or windowed.
4. Disable motion blur and Damage Glow.

I found this here. http://mwomercs.com/...o-slicrossfire/
Officially the game does not support multi gpu setups. However some people have reported brute force ways around it. You could also try the 13.11 beta drivers. Just be sure to do a clean sweep before installing any new video driver software.
