So I vaguely remember reading in a page about premium time that there's something called a loadout cost. I interpret this to mean that if I use ammo or get damaged during a match, that cost will come out of my pocket when I return to the mechlab. For example, one ton (7 shots) of AC/20 ammo costs 600 000. If I use 7 shots in a match, does this mean that I get smashed 600 000? If I dealt 0 damage and was on the losing team and did absolutely nothing, I'd only get 25 000. Does this mean that my net profit is negative? I consider myself to be a relatively bad player and my math shows me that my profits should be constantly negative, but I do get money.

tl;dr
what's loadout cost?
Thanks,
Tyler

They removed Rearm and Refit from matches so any and all c-bills that you earn is purely from playing. The only costs that you suffer is what is needed to set your mech up and if you use any consumable modules which you will have to buy again after you use them once in a map.

Even when we had repair and rearm, you'd still get 75% of your ammo back for free. So most of us jus carried an extra ton.
