Better ask RSI to make a Eisensturm - because they have space fighters:
oh of course he should make some other aerospace fighters too.
although the 325i with a spin mounted mass driver comes near....to the Eisensturm A

The Eisensturm is btw is a perfect example of a flying Clan Toeten Mech :)

So do I, Mechwarrior 2 Ghost Bear's Legacy shows why the Kodiak is awesome.

I wanted to pound my head into the KB when the Smoke Jaguar first uses contractions, then yells for help like a little girl, asking for back-up against a single opponent. <_<

And i was almost pyting the poor Mad Dog's pilot who ran into a coward ambush by an Assault 'Mech during what i suppose was a scouting run (so the request from help, probably sent to his Starmates, makes a bit more sense).

Oh, and i have not the eyes of a hawk but i think that Mad Dog is a Smoke Jaguar's 'Mech <_<

You got me on the Clan. Not sure why I even got that wrong. Must have Falcons on the brain (currently re-reading the entire novel line and I'm on Falcon Rising). Corrected.

But a true Clan warrior doesn't ask for back-up against a single opponent. A Clan warrior would be pissed if anyone did help him, since 2+ on one is dishonorable and un-Clanlike. If he considers him a coward because of the ambush, it would actually be less likely, because that means he's saying he needs help against someone who is, by default, inferior.

And he wouldn't even consider the tonnage difference as a factor.

Maybe a smart one, yes. But we are talking about the Jags, quiaff? <_<
However, i think that the ambush showed the Kodiak pilot had little honor so i might have felt allowed to ask reinforcement instead of brawling at very close range against a jumping assault , even if the enemy 'Mech is a second-line BattleMech.

I would think twice before engaging such enemy at close range with a Mad Dog prime :) in fact, you see the Jaguar was retreating before he got smashed by a wasteful physical attack (often disliked by Clan warriors).

Quit trying to defend him. That Jag is a dishonorable coward. No wonder the weaklings got wiped out.

Oh common we know why they were wiped out - Smoke Jaguars disliked the Wolves ans Stackpole was a Wolf that had sympathies with Davion and Kurita....and of course you shouldn't forget if he would have been attacked by Loki instead of DEST he would have been dead and stayed dead - because a Mauser&Gray round into the chest is more effective in comparison with a Katana through the chest.

Have forgotten about that game - afaik the first and only with underwater combat - and ZERO G

I was not defending him , just pointing out what i might have thought and done in the same situation. If you think it makes me a coward fell free to test my cowardice in honorable combat <_<

And you will hardly see me defending a Jag. They are the worst Clan , maybe after the not-named-Clan.

Can you imagine the Ghost Bears being the Clan Version of the Lyran Commonwealth? Think about it, just use a star of Executioners and you got yourself a Ghost Bear Recon Party. When you think about it, the Bears also like to deploy Fire Moths. They are kind of like Commandos in a way, despite having MASC. You could use these mechs to help Assault Mechs or brawl with other mechs just like the Commando.

It still does, but when you look at the COM-2D variant and the Fire Moth Prime, you can see that the loadouts are almost similar to each other. However the Fire Moth adds a second medium laser and it weights 5 tons less than a Commando.

Yeah, i cannot wait to see a Firemoth going at 216 KPH with MASC :D I foresee hit detection problems either caused by the engine and by the players' aim :P
really shame that the maps are too little and you will end up turning every 5 second to not exit the map's boundaries.

Anyone said Locust 2.0?

I want a Stooping Hawk! It's an odd choice, but last time I played the TT with it, my friend was pulling out his hair because he just couldn't kill me fast enough. XD

I kinda feel bad for House Kurita. I know my faction, (along with the Davions) hates them but, it's worse when you have to deal with the douches of the Clans. The Smoke Jaguars did some pretty horrible things to them like the bombing of Turtle Bay. It must suck to be a Drac dealing with genetic a-hole extremists.

Look at each faction and see the Clans they have to deal with:
Free Rasalhague Republic- Clan Ghost Bear/ Clan Wolf
Federated Commonwealth(Steiner/Davion)-Clan Jade Falcon/ Clan Steel Viper
Draconis Combine- Clan Smoke Jaguar/ Clan Nova Cat
But on the plus side, at least our factions get clan tech.

The Cappies and Free Worlders are lucky that the Clans can't reach them.
