Ahh i see the problem. You mistake the term free to play with free. Not sure if this is your first MMO, but the reason why many dev's are moving to the free to play market is that it allows for one person to pay for 20-100 people's subscription, and allows fan boy's of the game to sink money into it disporportionately. You see, the guy's who are complaining are the guy's paying to keep the servers up so you can play this game as well, and so you don't have to pay for it at all. What do you think will happen if everyone stops spending money on the game? Do you really think they will say "cSand is a good guy, we will keep the servers up because he is having a good time?" I know, it's not fair right... while you come to terms with life and how things work, allow me to point out another point i'm sure your ignorant of.

I noticed that you don't have any Overlord or Founders tags or anything really. You see, if you buy the founders pack and all of project phoenix and nothing else, you have spent $200 bucks. Below is a link from the Apple store selling an Iphone for 99 and 199 with plan. You can find refirsbushed just about anywhere for 200 unlocked. Of course the price isn't really the issue. If you went to the movie theaters and you bought a drink and popcorn and they told you they would bring it to you, and changed their minds without telling you, and handed you the popcorn and the drink AFTER you where leaving the movie theater, your telling me you would of been fine and you would of "gotten over it?" Because if you would i got some prime land overlooking the everglades in flordia for cheap, just as long as you get over things quickly.

You realize you misread the quote. The first poster was comparing PGI with Gearbox games, not saying that PGI WAS gearbox games. The second guy was predicting MWO to have the same reviews, and be viewed the same way duke nukem forever was. Game front did a review on MWO saying pretty much the same thing.
