I click the windows mwo Icon and after the MWO logo in the mid of the screen pops up an error msg pops up that says, Connection error There was an error while connecting: the under lying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive. Would you like to retry? Anyone have any ideas how to fix the problem?


Also another erro window pops up when I try to install the MWO repair tool, the title of the error window is ExceptionHandler and in the window there is this

go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Piranha Games\MechWarrior Online\Bin32

and run

BootStrapSentinal.exe

report back if it worked or not.

im having a very similar problem but i cant find the file or the sentenial anywhere mine says this

I had to uninstall and reinstall the patcher.
Had the same problem for 4 days and decided to bite the bullet and wipe it clean and reinstall.

i really need help and its driving me up the wall over the cieling down the hall and me going insane every 3 seconds. its annoying cause theres events i want to do and i cant do them yes im annoyed
