I can't fire the Gauss rifles in my Catapult K2. The bay doors won't open, plus there's no indicator on the windshield whether they are open or not. Is this a known bug? I tried reprogramming the weapon bay door toggle to different keys, but it will never open. I tried reset all options, but they still won't open.

I don't mean to be insulting, but do you realize that the Gauss Rifle has a charge up mechanism? To fire it, you have to hold the button for .75 seconds, then release in the next 1.25 seconds to fire. (I think those are the numbers). AFAIK, there are no missile bay doors on the K2 because they only apply to, well, missiles.

Thanks, not insulting at all. I hadn't played it since the "charge up" change, and got mentally fixated it must be the bay doors. That's how it is -- you start thinking about one thing, then assume that's the problem and don't consider logical alternatives. It works fine now, thanks for your help and quick response.

No problem, that's why we're here and I do the same "tunnel vision" thing.

Welcome back!
