With the spawn point changes a lot less tactic is needed right now:

- locate your assaults
- run to them
- advance as a blob and roflstomp their split up lances

and also pray that you have more 100 ton tanks than the enemy.

lights (especially without ecm) have less value because the enemy already is all over the map at the start of the game -> direct detection of your mech

at crimson strait if you start south then the D4/D5 route is off limits because the enemy is faster there -> total prediction of how your team will move

alpine peaks conquest is only brawl between the three cap points in the middle, no tactic at all

I want to be able to choose where I will head with my mech and not start somewhere completely unfit for my loadout, before the patch you could adjust your way according to what role your mech was for the team now that is not really possible anymore

I was playing the game because of it not being completely mindless slaughtering, but because of the tactical aspect, which has been significantly reduced with this patch.

due to the aforementioned points the game has become quite frustrating and not much fun for me anymore

Lol no.

The spawn splitting has had a huge effect on tactics. Compare now to before, which was literally advancing as a blob to the middle. I recently played a (losing) game on Alpine where two lances guarded a pass and all 12 mechs pushed from the other side. Scouting is more important to figure out enemy position. Do you engage lance to lance or try to link up? There's a good deal more decisions to make tactically. Figure out how to make it work for you.

like with 12v12 this might just need a little more time.
