I love all the ballistic sound effects except the AC/2. Simple request. PGI, please nerf the sound effect for this weapon as it's annoying and more importantly deafening to the ears! Please show support for this thread as this needs to be changed. Thanks.

Completely agree.
The AC2 have fast fire rate, and most of the time it comes in pair (sometimes even 3).
I'm in love with the sound, just tune the volume down a bit and save a lot of ears.
P.S. I enjoy a lot my triple AC2 Battlemaster, but the better the score, the more the headache....

Im bumping this. primary reason i dont play often with ac/2 or ac/5 mechs is the sound is too loud compared to all the other sounds.

Reduction in screenshake from AC/2's and 5's would also be a nice idea.

Those of us in the Ancient, Honorable, and Slightly Silly Cult of the Big Dakka will not stand still for this. That's the whole point of big darn guns. Let's the enemy know you mean business. So what if we need the jukebox turned up to 11 in the bar after the battle. It's WORTH IT.
