Hello,

I have fought with friends of mine who have told me this game is nothing more than a cash grab. Time and time I've tried to defend the actions of PGI but I think this is the tipping point.

What bull****. You have set a specific date when your company has had such an amazingly difficult time delivering on the promise dates for other more important features of the game. How can there be an invasion when there is no working series of planets or a system to be invaded?

CW is still vaporwear, UI 2.0 you've said will be delivered but you already know you'll have to tackle with flaws. I pay no attention to the balancing and hit registration worries of others, but people feel very strongly about them. You have 1 new map soon to be released, and game modes that have been asked for for forever are only a glint in a newborn child's eye. What more? You just asked people to help fund your game by delivering IS models.. There's no lobby system in play. In game chat, command, and etc are a sham and extremely rudimentary.

It saddens me that every person here isn't asking you to first deliver a legitimate gaming experience that is more than just skirmishes that don't matter. YOU DO NOT EVEN HAVE THE LOYALTY SYSTEM OR MERC UNIT CREATION SYSTEM in play yet.

PGI, what you are doing is disrespectful and disgusting. I only hope there's some transparency in the next few weeks. Is this because the company is operating at a loss and without this you cannot pay your developers. Is this a way to get an infusion so that you can hire more developers to make a real working program or do have you all just said f*** it, we don't give a s*** about these geeky goon nothings that'll salivate whenever we throw another block of content their way without a second thought of the features necessary to sustain our game.

My opinion is no more important than anyone else. I have been a Founder purchased your newest pack. I ran a group of about 50 people dedicated to this game alone which has been difficult do to their being no end game (where the hell is Role Warfare btw). I have played over 7k games since the stats have been counted, and zillions before. I was so excited and happy when this game became a reality and have fought to keep a positive opinion of your company and product but this is just too much. Through being jobless, poor, and having cancer this is one of the biggest f*** yous I've been given by life and it's by you, through a property I love.

My requests are this:
1. You give an accurate and real timeline for introduction of UI 2.0 and DX11.
2. You create the system of Community Warfare with ample time before the (arbitrary?) date you've set for the release of the clan packs.
3. You work with your community to improve upon the features so they are more than just 1.0 products that you feel will be the best for everyone.

I'm sure there's more but these are likely the most important things to get people to believe in your company again. Get these features in game (and I mean all of your promises of what CW is supposed to be) and I am fairly certain you'll have a flood of people return to the game and purchase your clan packs without the hassles and problems this type of release is going to have for people in the future.


I personally feel with these actions you're killing the game so many of us love.

As for the people complaining about pricing/gold 'mechs, I find it pretty funny that you act entitled to free things. Nobody is making you pay for these things. Not one person. The clans are coming, you got that, now you need to find something to complain about? I don't understand, I mean, I literally do not understand. If you don't want to pay, then don't. If you want the 'mechs earlier then you'll have to pay. It's simple. As for the gold 'mechs, you must look at that as a donation. People can spend a large sum of money for a product that they know is not worth the asking price because maybe they want to donate the money and have some recognition for it. It's called vanity and some are more vain than others. If you aren't as vain as the ones who will pay for the gold 'mechs, then don't. Don't go full rage mode just because you know that people are actually going to buy these things when you won't/can't. Just move on, stop nitpicking and finding every little possible asinine thing to whine and complain about. I'm extremely excited for these 'mechs. The art looks amazing. The prices could use a little work (maybe offer some MC, that would even out the prices, make them seem more fair) but aside from that, I'm going to be buying the Warhawk pack, there is no doubt in my mind.

Have fun out of the battlefield Mechwarriors! Devs, keep up the amazing work! And for those of you who are choosing to leave over something that won't even affect you if you choose to let it pass, I pity you.

Or watch the 3PV fiasco turn into a "minor incident" compared to the fiasco of epic fail this clan pack & your future as a business is liekly to be if you keep careening the vessle you call a business down this path.

Of course, maybe I am wrong. Maybe PGI is swimming in money, and these clan packs are FLYING off the shelves.

I was going to buy a hero mech on sale this weekend. Good thing I saw this, going to pass.

Now my concern is this, I would be willing to put $240 towards the highest package if I knew the game had massive staying power. I don't feel like gambling haha. Ahh that decision.

I really want to buy the masakari, i even had the plan to spent about 100 bucks in the clan package, but 175 € ???

So my question: is there a plan to customize the package you buy? for example, i want the masakari, thor and puma, would pay 90 $ and get the extras from the pack of this price?

So overall, switch the 'mechs included in the package?

Heffay was there, too, and he immediately turned on the former whiteknights in the Star Citizen thread, declaring that just meant less competition for him to buy these GREAT DEAL exclusive mechs. Spectral Thunder seemed a little hurt by that.

You know, I don't mind paying $60 and a choice of one 'Mech like the Founders, only 'Mech I want is the Timber Wolf.

I suppose I could wait for the cBill purchase, of the Phoenix I only wanted a BattleMaster but three months down the line we still only have the Locust and Shadowhawk. Working on that time scale, I wouldn't be able to have a cBill Timber Wolf until EIGHTEEN MONTHS after everyone else assuming 3 months between 'Mech releases like it has been.

I'm not,however, paying $210 and having a bunch of 'Mechs I DON'T want.

I think I would get more enjoyment out of sending 240 real dollars worth of $240 stacks of monopoly money sent to them than the actual 240 in cash for the clan mechs.

I think the bigger question is

what reason do we have to buy the clan mechs at all?

No CW. Check.
No ui 2.0. Check.
No Achievements. check.
No private matches. check.

Righto. $240 so we can do the same thing we've been doing for 2 years in the jumpjet capable clan mechs that will be released. There will be the "shadowhawk" of the pack, while the rest fall into obscurity. Probably the summoner.

Get back to me when there's an actual clan invasion & CW in the game. Until then, $10 for all 8 of those clan mechs is too much.

Just redecorated fluff in the same gamemodes we have had until now.

Or, super OP, if you dont have a clan mech, you lose, in which case PGI just careens into P2W with no new features territory.
