Can you imagine the backlash when people realize that IF CW ever comes out, it's going to be so heavily monetized that it won't even be worth playing most likely. I know there's quite a few out there that think PGI is above that, though after this I don't see how.

You forgot about people spreading misinformation EVERYWHERE. Do people even read? There are people who actually think that the 240 package only comes with the Masakari. Dammit people if you want to whine atleast whine about things that are actually true.

The suits making the decisions need to be dragged, drawn, and quartered as penance for their lack of integrity. Never, not even once, have I EVER seen mismanagement on this scale (not even from Microsoft products). I bought in to the MWO idea hook, line, and sinker from day one (Legendary, Overlord, Saber) believing that the promises would be fulfilled in a reasonable time. I have dropped $230 on a product that provides barely any more value as my $50 copy of MW4 did in its day. Mech selections aside, I actually liked the game better in closed beta.

How is it even remotely possible that this dev and management team could possibly obtain so much money from people and fail to deliver functionality (and I mean CAPABILITY, not a bunch of visual fluff) in a timely manner, especially when other shops do it for $60 a pop?

As a software lead running a team of 12, I'm simply appalled. If I tried to pull even a fraction of what has been done (or not done, as the case may be) over the development of MWO with my customer, I'd have been fired a LONG time ago (with prejudice).

my complaint is mostly the fact is that i need 180$ to get a stormcrow, which i was planning on using as my main clan mech. Now i dont even want to play MWO anymore after this <scrap> They need to rethink on how to sell the clan mechs, a tier'd system thats logical and affordable. If they tier by Weight class instead of popularity , i would have 0 complaints about buying into this.
