I am now actively hoping that this game fails so that the franchise can be picked up by a developer who will go ahead and make the single player game that we all actually wanted and got all excited for when we saw that first trailer back in '09.

Really sad to see that teenagers have to resort to crime to afford to play this game... I've bought, played, and enjoyed almost every Mechwarrior game made for the PC and Xbox since the 80's... I've spent more money on MWO than any game ever in my life. And have over 27 mechs and counting... but c'mon $500 for 1 (virtual) mech??? WTF? Are you out of your minds? This is obscene and insulting marketing to people who work hard for $$ and enjoy playing online games casually... My Friday the 13th is now complete.

I'm thinking PGI must be desperate for cash to ask for so much money 7 months in advance... beware paying for this stuff now they might be declaring bankruptcy after the New Year... and running off somewhere warm with your cash!

I'm psyched about Clan Mechs... but build a GAME that is IMMERSIVE and SOCIAL and not just log in and shoot. WHY CAN:T WE TRADE ITEMS between each other? Why no REAL SALVAGE? One of the best thing about the old mech games was winning a battle and getting that PPC or lost tech or whatever...

Why can't we make matches for C-Bills? Etc etc... You are missing things to make this a social and living world but you are only focusing on pumping us for money... I agree with the others... show us your old promised UI 2.0 and new game mechanics before just insulting us with packages that are more expensive than AIRLINE TICKETS!

That is crowd funding, and is for a game that is not yet released, and won't be released until its released with the content it has promised to deliver.

MWO promised to deliver quite a lot while they themselves got crowd funding, and yet a lot of it is still not implimented. So your comparison to Star Citizen is deeply flawed

At least PGI has come clean and made it very clear that their one and only intent is to get as much money out of diehard and new BT fans alike before this game crashes and burns. I would join in with the voices calling for their failure but I would much rather see a competent developer take over in an attempt to salvage this beloved franchise. Keep the art types though they create the beautiful shiny lures that get rendered into **** after you've paid 500 dollars for ONE of them

I bought the Founders pack, and I bought the Phoenix Overlord pack...I've been all in up until now.

You guys promised Community Warfare, UI 2.0, but haven' delivered.

The community piece missing has reduced this game to a 12 man interactive FPS.

Where is the strategy? Where is battling over planets? Where are the lobbies? Where
are the dropships? Thousands of us have invested time and money setting up clans in
prep for all this, yet been left wanting.

Half of my 800 man clan has left for Star Citizen or other games.

Stop adding mechs, and Start adding content please.

As for my wallet, I will not be all in this time.

I am a die hard MechWarrior fan but have to turn this down. Want to see how the basic COMPLETE game model evolves before I even consider paying that kind of money for more Mechs. Sorry guys my BS alarm just went off, I need to see game development /content, not more mechs. I don't post that often but I can't support you on this at this time.

Bought it the second I saw it, I don't get the complaining about the prices. $240 for 24 mechs is $10 a mech, that's friggin steal!

I can understand the gripes about this before seeing CW or UI2.0 but whatever.. it's the Clans baby!
