What I was expecting, was what MechWarrior 2 offered.
They have stated many, many times, a long time ago, that PvE would never see the light of day, I accepted that.
They are giving me more mechs and maps to play on.
Talking out my what, though?
For the record, I was never "expecting" PvE either. A co-op mode option would really have been nice, but I didn't expect it.
What bothers me with your various statements is that you are so dismissive of PGI failing to deliver on a core feature.... that feature being CW. You can split hairs and be contrary if you want, but community warfare was ADVERTISED as a feature.
We are pissed because "more mechs" is the last thing a lot of us want. Fake-Clan Mechs even less so. PERIOD. AND WE HAVE EVERY REASONABLE RIGHT TO BE PISSED.
What you are arguing is not reasonable. It is inflammatory and selectively ignoring issues. At worst, you look like someone who works for PGI. At best, you look like an apologist. With a title like "Whiteknight", that only makes you look more suspicious.

no gold ammo just gold mechs for actuall gold.
no idea of their scaling, weapons/ mechlab tinkering capabilities, deployment. and asked of before UI 2 is even implemented let alone a scarric of the 2011 fabled community warfare.

But given that PGI is not EA, BioWare or SOE, they have my loyalty up until the breaking point.
I understand some people's breaking points differ from person to person, but the fact these won't be injected until June 17th 2014 and being angry at them for it...
... seems way too harsh.

At $500- hell even at $240 a pop - you're not a gamer you're a ******* investor!
Remember when you used to just pay $60 and you got the ENTIRE game? And then the company didn't ask you for money again until the expansion came out? And when the expansion came out it was... well, you know, complete!? This **** has been flying by the seat of its pants and our cash for years now.
Wouldn't that be nice. . .
No thanks. This is going to become P2W. And I'm going to leave if it does. Shame though. I loved this game.

What? How? If someone wants to pay $500 for a vanity mech, it's all them. You are crying about absolutely nothing. How does this even affect you?

Wow really? REALLY!?
Instead of one group of mechs we get two. If you noticed they went Light > Medium > Heavy > Assault on both groups. So evil how dare they give us more than 1 mech of each weight class.

Give me the new UI and CW for crying out loud. Hell, give me the high rez images of the Phoenix mechs first.
Getting REAL hard to keep coming back.

You realize the stuff they are doing is ripped straight for EA's playbook. This is the same type of thing, just a money grab.
