You do realize that UI2.0 was rushed because of people like you? It was clearly rushed because of these promisses otherwise it would be a lot better if it hadn't been rushed. Programming takes time.

Rushed is a term you use when you want to indicate a lack of time. Release for the new UI was announced for summer. By them.

Now it is February.

Enough with the 'buy sight-unseen' marketing.

We are beyond the point where believers should be giving you cash to get the game going.

I need to know what I will get for my money beyond a pretty skin.

How many hardpoints,? What engines will fit? What are the specs for clan weaponry, clan equipment, & etc.?

Still not sure why people fault PGI for this.

Are you serious? It's called "bait & switch"; they promised Founders a feature knowing they wouldn't be working on it because the license hadn't been secured. Do you actually find this to be acceptable behaviour?

Hahahahahah! Are you SERIOUS?! UI2.0 being launched on time, but in a barely useful state, is the fault of the people who expect this company to meet their deadline? This needs to be preserved as one of the dumbest comments ever to be posted on the internet.

well that's me told...

Seriously, I did always believe all the Unseen were due to the artist making the deal with the creators of Macross etc and FASA round the same time, and that the makers of Macross etal had allowed FASA to use the art in US and elsewhere, until Harmony Gold took those two series and turned them in to Robotech and then started going all proto-patent-troll on FASA. I really did think the Battlemaster etc appeared in Robotech.

I was completely unaware that there was another player. I am familiar with the article I posted (it is old) it does not mention any other shows. I watched Robotech as a kid, and I have watched some of Macross as an adult, obviously not enough to recognise the name.

By the way, sincere, not factious, if you know more it would save me further future embarrassment.
Well since you're being all reasonable about a thing on the internet, there's a full list of any design with a questionable history here even if the text is a bit wonky. The non-Macross Battledroids-era designs are either Fang of the Sun Dougram or Crusher Joe designs. The others are VMI re-designs of the original run or are VMI original designs which were removed at the same time "just in case". Some of them, like the Hellhound/Conjurer, are blatantly "IIC" versions in all by name. The Firebee, Falcon and Hornet were all just VF-1 derived in Battledroids, so technically shouldn't be on the list as the names were repurposed between editions.

I've got my problems with the way PGI has handled their progress (and lack thereof) towards getting CW out, but I don't think this is it. I think they started working on it, then realized that the existing U.I. would not support it, shifted gears, and here we are (over a year later).

I did spend $120 on the promises in the original Dev Blogs, and I am dissappointed that they have not come close to realizing their visions of Community Warfare, Role Warfare, or Information Warfare, but I don't think this was a choice they made intentionally in the Spring or Summer of 2012 (when the founders packages were announced).

I don't think it was an intentional "bait and switch" -- which would be malicious, fraudulent, and deceptive. I think they over-promised and under-delivered -- which shows their inexperience, possibly lack of professionalism, and certainly lack of communication skills.

Fair enough. For it not to be an intentional "bait & switch", PGIGP would have to be completely clueless as to the time frame required to develop, test and implement what they promised the Founders.

This leaves us with either:

1) the developers are lying dirtbags who fraudulently misrepresented their ability/willingness to deliver promised content, while simultaneously not disclosing the fact they didn't have the license locked down.

or

2) the developers are inexperienced, unprofessional, and unintentionally misled the Founders, while simultaneously not disclosing the fact they didn't have the license locked down.

Either way, this game clearly isn't in good hands. In both cases, PGIGP took money from Founders and withheld pertinent info; we just can't prove whether they did it intentionally or not.

My gut says it is going to be like a custom car-horn--maybe it plays Little Spanish Flea or La Cucaracha...

Dear PGI:

The highest tier package is 4x the cost of the overlord phoenix package. For that, it should come WITH a gold camo mech, a YEAR of premium time, and a concubine to service me while I'm in match killing stuff with my wife!

Look at my badges PGI. I'm a dedicated customer and financial backer. From someone who has dumped more money on this project than he can already afford YOU HAVE LOST YOUR BLEEDING MINDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't care if it's clans, it's WAAAAYYYYY Too much $$$. You'd better have one HECK of an update next Tue. if you expect me to get bent over for these.
there are more mechs in the masakari package than the overlord one (even counting the sabre package.

I agree we should have the vulture or at least the summoners cousin the hellbringer?

Compare Masakari package to Overlord package, double mechs should absolutely not justify quadruple price. Especially when you look at Daishi, the Overlord equivilant, have 30 days LESS premium time and comes with less badges but cost $40 MORE.

When the "social reward," or rather the term they are using for MONTHLY SALES GOALS for February fails, they pretty much won't have a choice but to lower prices to more reasonable levels the MAJORITY of the player base thinks is fair.

That or they will stupidly say "Fine, no bonus for you" and wonder why no one else is buying anything.

So... are we gonna get any info as to what these mechs are gonna come equipped with (in regards to loadouts)? Might encourage some of us who are on the fence to buy so long as we're informed about what we're getting...

If you move your mouse over the mech's picture at the top quarter of the webpage (where is shows a line of pictures of all of the available mechs), information on the mech should pop-up. Try it now (if you want to): http://www.mwomercs.com/clans

Now you can see what hardpoints each prime variant has as well as its weapons and some other information.

I have a question, i don't have find the answer in the FAQ.

Sorry if someone has always ask this question, i don't want to read 376 pages for searching the info.

The question :

On the page for buying a clan package, there is some "Monthly rewars". I have understand that, if you buy you clan pack on february, for example, you will receive your monthly reward after that (for february, you have the reward for the 4th of march).

The question is : if i buy, for example, the kit Fox package on may, i will have the monthly reward of may. If i upgrade my package on june, before the 17th, will i get the reward of june too? (it looks like to be some colors)

If it is possible, you can have all of the monthly reward with this solution : you buy the uller package on february, you get the monthly reward of february; you upgrade to the Nova package on march, you get the monthly reward of march; you upgrade to the Thor package in april, you get the monthly reward of april; and etc... Until the reward of june, you will have to upgrade to the Puma pakcage.

So in fact the question i ask to PGI is : is this possible to doing this in order to have all of the monthly reward, or it's not possible?

Thanks to give me a response! =)

See you on battlefield, mechwarriors!

Pretty sure if you buy in February, you get all rewards through June. I say this despite the fact I don't want them reaching the February social reward because I want them to understand the majority of people find the priced horribly unreasonable. If they reach the reward (also known as monthly sales goal in disguise) then prices have no hope of coming down.

FYI -

tweets by Russ Bullock apparently indicate that you CANNOT incrementally upgrade a single a la cart mech purchase to a multiple mech purchase at a later time - you can ONLY upgrade a low tier collection pack (ie, uller) to a higher collection pack.

https://twitter.com/...794956866478080

has anyone who has actually made an a la cart purchase already confirm or deny this?
