Don't feel sorry for me ... my time and my money are mine to spend how I wish, and while right now it kind of feels like a few of the clan 'mechs are pay-to-win, it is most certainly not at the "gold ammunition" level of "pay to win" (and balance is always a moving target).

Even if I had spent half as much time and a quarter (or less) as much money, I would still be able to completely enjoy the game.

I also know a handful of people who have spent zero money on the game,and also enjoy it.

Yes, Gold Khans got both the G and the I. They both gain exp to the same variant tree, though, so you're sitting on two load-outs for the same 'Mech. It's handy at times.

IIRC you can gift the Warhawk pack to a friend, yes. One or two members of CGBI did this for friends. Support would be the best place to ask to be sure though, and if so, how to go about it.

You can contact support to upgrade your masakri pack to a gold mech.

I like the Warhawk, especially the Prime with 4x ERPPCs.
