I'd rather they split it into 2 packages and swap the digital art, wallpaper and modules to a selected camo (we choose) applied to a mech chassis of our choice.

To the OP, i feel that having some additional mechbays would allow you to keep your favorite mechs, if you have any.

No cw's or lobbies yet, but we get this...lol, the third of these 'packs' each one steeper in price than the last. See a trend...talk about a money pit.
Yet we have no clan wars or even at the very least a update and realistic schedule. I see where all there time and efforts are being spent now and disapprove.
I told myself after purchasing the founders pack that I will not spend any more $$$ on this game (w/exception to slots ofc) until I see CW's. Im happily sticking to that, its time for real content that is now well overdue imo.

Given PGI's track records, you'll have about 5 months to decide whether or not to get the package.

The mechs will be completely available, for regular cbills, months after the fact.

The big questions is how will clan and inner sphere mechs interact? Can I bring the clan mech in to fight for the Liao, for example? How will all of that work? It's awfully early to be announcing these. I'm not touching this until the explanations come out to the open.

Also I noticed the art. But it's hard to make it large enough to judge.

Okay so I found a way to get a slightly better look at the mechs.
Here's my rough size opinion based on their weight and the art, remembering that these need to fit a human pilot of the Crysis Nano-suit size. Note these are merely estimations based on what I see. Nothing more.

^^^Indeed...how will clan vs. IS work, great question. With all the issues and balance QQ there is now, I imagine this will only makes things worse...much worse.
But yeah, to early to have specific complaints aside from the obvious stuff at this point which is the @55 rap1n6, and lack of anything that the community really needs (CW being primary).

Quoted from the official feedback thread.

Okay. This was in another thread, but...

[Quoting what I said above]

Now, here's my actual feedback on the sale itself.

PGI, given the way this is set up, I believe that the first four and the second four should be split into two separate groups.

Group one, Kitfox, Nova, Summoner, Dire Wolf. 120 for package.
Group two, Adder, Ryoken, Timber Wolf, Masakari. 120 for package.
Gets the same price, 240, for both. But in its current state, you have to pay 150 to get the group I titled group one, + a 35 ton mech. (Seriously?)

This lets players choose between two separate tiers to climb up, for example if I bought 60 dollars in to each of the two groups, I could have Kitfox and Nova + Adder and Ryoken. Or what if I wanted the Adder and Summoner? I could pay 90 into group one, and only 30 into group two.

Please split it into two tiers to climb.

Please click the "Arrow" next to my name on the quote to find that post and show your support for splitting the clan mech list into two tangible tiers instead of one long climb.

No all the packages are over priced....

Clan mechs are all supposed to all be Omni-Mechs...so all you really should need is one of each...

Yet another feature PGI seems to have "forgotten" about...

I agree $500 is bonkers mad ridiculous, but it will hardly make me leave the game. No one is being forced to buy, at the end of the day, im sure ill be able to take down a few $500 mechs in my little Dragon :-)

I think that should be what they've done at a much later time, after UI 2.0, CW, DX11, and a bunch of other stuff to make the Inner Sphere stable. I've 4 mechs and am close to mastering my second chassis (First I mastered all 3 Hunchies, then I chose to master Ravens, along with buying XL295 for RVN-3L and keeping XL210 for my slower RVN-2X/4X. I know XL295 will be handy by Blackjacks, especially BJ-1X.)

Koniving, thanks for the estimates, though Warhawk/Masakari is 85 tons.

Ok I love BattleTech and the MechWarrior games and even MWO (with all the broken promises and missing content and all), Yes i'm a founder and yes I purchased the Overload package and Sabre reinforcement package but seriously PGI come the F**K ON. these prices are getting stupid.

Fine has the packages like these but also give us the option to pick what Mechs we get in the packs. There are only 3 mechs (Thor, Mad Cat and Warhawk) in that lot i would want to get, and you are FORCING people to spend the max to get them. Then $500 for one gold mech - no way

Please think about your packages and pricing. or are you only looking to line your pockets now

Pricing comes out to about $10/mech. Pretty good deal

The problem is we have absolutely no idea on how any of it works, the hardpoints, the mech info (other than concept art), or any of the extras in the higher packs. We have no idea how they're going to play into CW. We have no idea how grouping will work with them. We still ahve no idea when to expect CW, UI2.0, how those will work, we still don't even have an f'ing answer on how our loyalty points will work. THAT'S the problem I have with this situation. Not the price

NO...NO...NO. No one should buy it, new or old players. Not until we get CW's, DX11, UI2.0, Lobbies should anyone spend another dime.
Not to mention buy the time said new player actually gets the mechs (6-7 months ya?) he wont be new anymore and very well may not even be playing this game. That's far to long in advance to make such a purchase on a game that has not been able to provide the content I mentioned above.

I made both package purchases 6 or so months in advance. I was in CB before Founders went on sale. I enjoyed playing the game so I bought it. When the Phoenix package went on sale, I still enjoyed the game and bought it. Still enjoy playing the game so I bought this too. If you enjoy playing the game and believe you will playing when the package is released, it is a really good value.

Don't know what to think about the Gold mechs though.

doom and gloom aside, what happens if the game goes under in between now and then?

what if they come out in a few weeks and announce "This is all we're doign for feature implmentation. We've decided to scrap the CW idea. We're sticking with the two game modes we have now and that's it."

What if they decide clan mechs would be too op so they'll jsut use IS tech inside of them?
What if they decide clan mechs will only be able to be used against other clan mechs thus forcing you into queues with only other clan users (especially if the package hasn't sold well to populate something like that)
What if they decide clan mechs will only be able to participate under certain rules requiring pilots to follow something similar to zelbriggne?
What if they decide clan mechs get reduced c-bill earnings to help offset their more powerful tech?
What if they decide clan mechs have to fight against IS at reduced numbers and tonnage limits?
What if they decide clan mech omni mechs are just regular mechs with no advantage to hardpoints?

They stuck a 200+ dollar price tag on something which they have released ZERO information about. They went from ui2,0 in december to (and I quote stright from Russ' twitter) "I am HOPEFUL UI2.0 will be ready to go in January. Which means nothing else can get implemented until after that.

If people want to spend $200+ on a product that they have no idea about then far be it from me to tell them otherwise. If they want to spend hundreds of dollars on an incomplete product that (for me) has finally blown past the last acceptable deadline then go for it. I'll be saving my money for other purchases though until I see CW at the very least. Even with that if there's still this "teehee I know something you don't know" mentality and attitude when it comes to giving pertinent and useful information to their customer base I may still not spend any more money. I'm fed up with it

If I'm enjoying the game at that time....so be it...I'll get the stuff I paid for and continue to play. If I'm not enjoying the game and I haven't gotten my stuff, I'll get a refund. I'm not particularly worried either way.

The Packages are fine and well in line with the value on Founers/Phoenix, It's the gold mechs that are just rediculous.
