Its understandable at 100M+ that 60% would register and that at 200M+ 33% would register, however once a mech is within 50M, all of the SRM's should hit if you have them center mass.

How are they broken? Many ways, let me tell you.
The first is they took away splash damage. No splash damage means an immediate and significant damage reduction from where they were at before. This, especially in light of the other problems I will mention, have crippled the SRMs.
The second is HDR problems making them not register hits, even on stationary or large targets. Not hitting means you do not do any damage.
The third is they significantly changed the flight paths of SRMs for the worse, there is no technique or dyanmic to them any more like the old pinch then spread flight path or the old spiral flight path. This means damage is spread over many components, making them ineffective and less skill dependant causing less kills, less damage, more misses causing a significant drop in damage.
The fourth is they straight up nerfed them, reducing their damage from 2.5 a missile to, what is it now? 1.5? As well as adding ghost heat if you boat them, whichmade the CPLT-A1 pointless.
Overall, these 4 things have caused the SRMs to be not worth using and this is evidenced by never seeing them in 12-man matches and rarely seeing them in pugs.
They need to be fixed and it has been more then 8 months that they have been broken.

Same cycle will continue for next 6 months just enough for clans to be released, we will all be happy with shiny Timberwolfs and when everyone start to get bored of same things we will get new set of crumbs and continue to march on and on until we get old and die
