Whew! Shield-Maidens and Vikings; we're finally here =). Before I get into it I'd like to thank my guys Aphelion Dax and Stromwolfe13 for running the Yule Drops both weeks - managing 6 lances from different clans and getting them to participate in 3+ sync drops isn't exactly a picnic. I'd also like to thank ALL FRR clan leaders, each one of you has been very helpful in making Yule a success. Without your guyses efforts we'd have no chance at getting anything done.

That said - let's see how it all ends.

First - I want to say EVERYONE is encouraged to come back.

We have 9 lances left in the tournament. Only two of them are undefeated. To be removed from the tournament a lance has to lose twice, until then they keep fighting. Although many teams have been defeated and forced from the grace of Asgard to fight beneath the Midgard skies, one lance of Midgard-bound warriors will get a chance at redemption - to fight and reclaim their place in Asgard.

To do this we'll have two 24 man Yule Drops dedicated to making those matches happen. I'd like us to have a 3rd Yule Drop though - made up the warriors we've sent to Valhalla - to celebrate and battle for fun while the Tournament finishes off its final matches.

If they have enough the 3rd Yule Drop can do 12v12 matches against itself, or break up into six 4man teams and let FRR viking lances overrun the PUG Matches - chanting glorious homage to Yule.



Meanwhile:

1st Yule Drop:
Group One: Blue Vengeance2, 5th Drakøns: Gold Lance, OBSERVER LANCE 1
Group Two: 1stRDR: Niflhel, Blue Vengeance 1, OBSERVER LANCE 2

Drop One: (A)Blue Vengeance2 and 1stRDR: Niflhel fight. 5th Drakøns Gold Lance and Blue Vengeace 1 fight.

-WAIT FOREVER- 2nd Yule Drop has two more drops than you - so do 12mans while you wait.
Send away an OBSERVER LANCE, pick up the winner of (C2B2) from 2nd Yule Drop.

Drop Two: The loser of (A) fights the winner of (C2B2).
Drop Three: The Winner of (AC2B2) fights the Winner of A.
Drop Four: IF the Winner of (AC2B2) defeats the Winner of A - They have a rematch.
Yule Tournament Winner declared - Drink Mead.



2nd Yule Drop:
Group One: Black Crusaders 1, 5th Drakøns: Pretty in Pink, ISEN:Jarlsguard
Group Two: Aseveljet, ISEN: Huldufolk, OBSERVER LANCE 3

Drop One: (A2)Black Crusaders 1 and Aseveljet fight. (B2)5th Drakøns: Pretty in Pink and ISEN: Huldufolk fight.
Drop Two: (C2)ISEN: Jarlsguard fight the Winner of (A2).
Drop Three: The Winner of (C2) fights the Winner of (B2)

-Send the Winner of (C2B2) to 1st Yule Drop-
Dissolve Drop and go join the shenanigans at 3rd Yule Drop

Party like it's 793 in Lindisfarne.

A huge thanks to the Isengrim for organizing this event, and to Blue Vengeance for hosting it. These 4v4 drops have been a kind of thrill ride that I haven't felt since the beginning of Open Beta.

Working on my videos now. I need to call my ISP and shove an axe up their ***. 70$ a month and it won't even load recorded Twitch vids? Anyway, they'll be up in due time. This week I only have the PnP Matches, and I think one of the Black Crusader rematches? The last one that was on Caustic. I'll figure it out.

Thanks to you lads for organizing all this. It's been a blast so far and I expect it to be a blast next week!

Thanks again for everything Dane, despite Nattugla's technical difficulties this week (I lost power in our second match, and our 1st had a DC) it was fun. Just getting to hang out with all the other groups and see the activity and enthusiasm is a great change of pace from the daily grind, and helps belay some of the drag while waiting for CW, clans, etc.

Unfortunately I won't be around next week as the 21st is my wife's birthday, BUT I wish you the best of luck, and I wish all participants a fine death in honor of Yule!

I will be posting more later, but 1st Place (And 24 hours of Premium Time!) went to the 1stRDR: Nifhel! They have proven themselves the most elite lance in the entire FRR.

2nd place went to Blue Vengeance 2, an extremely impressive lance of players.

3rd place went to the Isengrim: Jarlsguard. More to be added tomorrow.

I would like to say Congratulations to the victors and to the participants of this tournament. The Aesir and Vanir smile down upon our celebration of battle and blot! Thank you to the Isengrim who organized this event and worked many hours putting up with drunken Vikings firing lasers and autocannons willy-nilly all the while herding us through the brackets like so many sheep. A big thank you to the Blue Vengence who sponsored this event, may your winches' bottoms not be bruised too long and your mead hall be soon refilled. Veilen Danke meine Brüder! Lastly, I would like to thank PGI/IGP for supplying the prizes for the victors. That says a lot about the care they have for the community! I say we try to do this again at Disting!!!!

Pgi did prize support? I didn't know they were going to. Anyways congratulations to niflhel and everyone else who played. It's nice to know the FRR will have such a talented and involved group of warriors when CW drops and we can direct our "talent" at the other guys!
