hey guys!

Alex' mad cat just looks awesome!

but yet i ask myself, where are the two machine guns?
Posted Image
focusing on the torso, you can see a energy hardpoint on the RT (medium pulse i guess)...but i can't find the two machine guns

there could be one machine gun on the right half of the CT/cockpit...but there's no sign of the second

do you guys know if there are any specifics where the two machine guns should/will be loacted on the mad cat?

just asking because i like symmetry...machine gun mounts similar to the k2 would be my personal favourite

and thoughts, speculations or definite answers?

cheers

small edit: an official clarification where the two MGs will be would be the jackpot, off course

The MG it's probably the little part protuding near the bottom of the CT/cockpit

Are you sure it's a Prime?

Edit: Having review Sarna, it does look like a Prime. The MPL is the weapon pod on its side torso, so the MGs are probably the pods (only the near one is visible) along the nose under the air intakes.

Looks like one 2x LRM 20 2x ERLL and 2x ER ML on arms (notice upper lens are blue colored) and a third med laser on what seems to be the torso.

2 lrm20s
2 llas (blue lenses)
2 mlas (green lenses)
RT energy mount: can't make out a lense, but looks like most of the other energy hardpoints we've seen so far (compare to thunderbolt or battlemaster)

so i guess it's probably a prime
also thought of this protuding part to be (at least one) a MG...but don't know if it's a "dual mg" which would look odd, or if the "morrored" mount is not correctly depicted

Left torso, the machine gun mirrors the medium pulse on the right torso.

that's such an ugly loadout :/
and my hopes that they "corrected" that aren't all too high, when we take a look at the concept art

does anyone know if the config S was already availble in 3050? because this should have at least 1b in each side torso

That sounds about right.

Has anyone else noticed (upon looking at the bigger version of the madcat picture) that it looks really bloated?

Not really. The arms are a bit thicker than previous looks, but the rest is pretty close to previous. I prefer this look. Seems more like a 75 ton mech should look. Looks nasty in a GOOD way.

It's been working out for MW:o. It used to have vary small arms that connected to the weapon pods.

that's exactly how i intend to rock the cat on the battlefield xD

Niko, is there any chance we get specifics about hardpoints/configs in the near future? or yet depending on the design phase?
