The Gold Mech Clan sale? Are you kidding me? For $500 I got a REAL one, well real as a physical model anyways.

I hope to have a whole Star one day... and a lot of money later. Meanwhile, enjoy the images of this beauty!

Damn fine model, if I do say so myself. It is a beast, isn't it?

And I have a 65 dollar Flea.

Thanks! I hope to have more pics to share as soon as I get my hands on more of these large scale 'Mechs. There is a really special one coming up that I think is nearing completion, it's going to be amazing! (I hope)

A long time ago, I actually played with these miniatures at conventions and stuff, but that was long ago. Now, yes they are just an awesome collection. :)

You got that model from TheTeacher, correct? He is the only one that I can remember that still does this sort of thing, well by hand anyway. http://battlemechclu...ishi-build.html

I think he is working on a Clan Diamond Shark battlemech next.

Do you have a copy of the background image you used in your display case? I want to make one for my stuff as well and that looks great.

Yes, it is one of TheTeacher's kits, and I am really looking forward to more of his Clan Mech kits!

Also, max. That image I put on the back of that there display case was actually very cheap and easy to do. All I did was buy:
http://www.amazon.co...0?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and trim it down so it fit into the display case. In fact, amazon carries several of these nature/paradise kind of posters, so there is a nice variety to choose from. Hope that helps!

For a giant 63 inch by 21 inch image, it doesn't really even cost all that much.

I mean come on, this one that measures 24 inches by 36 inches is not even TWO dollars!
