A giant amount of the player population won't make it through another year of PPC/AC20 warrioronline.

No brawling for at least 9 months it seems.

I don't have any issue with SRM other than the missiles not guiding when a Narc beacon is attached.

And the general consensus is that they do not want clans, they want a working game. I'm pretty sure PGI will be lucky to crack 20 of the more expensive (not gold mech) packages with the way things are gamewise.
If we can somehow have an adopt-a-programmer program to work on the communities top concern, I'd pitch in money in an instant. No I don't want a clan mech (especially if you can't balance IS weapons).
Fix the game first..

Cheer up, new camo patterns are available today and SRM's are still scrap. I love playing AC, Laser and Streak Warrior Online.

Assuming (and that is a big assumption) they hold to their timetable this time. Their past track record has been disconcerting.
EDIT: And yes, I agree, srms are a huge priority in my opinion. They are too important of a weapon to not get some love.

As I previously discussed with my now pretty much disbanded clan, the only reason PGI is not bankrupt as of like 2 years ago is because of all the battletech fans that have been desperate for a MW game for a decade. If this was just some no franhcise game, or hell, one of the many other franchises besides battletech it would have already failed.
It is astounding that after all this time PGI is still failing so hard at basic game functionality and balance.
Back to other games again it would seem. If only hawken was not a robot skinned COD

No one is expecting that, we're expecting them to do damage every time they hit. They've basically never done this reliably - as you point out they only seemed to work when splash was broken because of the broken splash.
Right now they're like pulling a slot machine arm every time you fire them, will they do damage? Nobody knows!
Also, it's sort of sad that SRMs cannot be fixed concurrently with CW development for some reason. It could be a valid reason, but that would make it even more sad.

I figure at the current package pacing, Clans are out next summer, give them 6 months an new package will be out (or less). The next block of mechs typically means advancing to the next major timeline event.
