I just unlocked everything for my Atlas D-DC, and the build is awesome. But now I need a new project, and my old Stalker 5M needs some love, since it has gone out of date with the SRM and heat nerfs. I honestly don't know what to do with it. I looked around the internets, and every build I saw for it was out of date. I was thinking of boating streaks with it and making a light mech killer just for giggles. If anyone knows of a build that works well for this mech and feels like sharing, I would like to hear your ideas!

How's this?

Change down to a 275 and you can put some PPC's on there for hitting heavier stuff.

Looks about like what I just made in Smurfy's mechlab myself. Have a look, and tell me what you think:

Looks good, but I would fit a STD-300 and add more leg armor, or those lights will eat you instead once they find out. And maybe add a Beagle. PPC's disruption only work if you actually hit those ECM mechs.

I already ended up changing the engine size and adding the beagle, haha.

3 MLs, 2 PPCs, 3 SRM4s, 2 tons of ammo, a standard 300. Brawls nice, does range nice, runs not too hot, and is a nice mech overall.

That was super awesome build before ghostheat
I regularly do 700+ damage and get multiple kills and assists. Just chain fire and group two LL to the first group and 3 to the second. I can usually cycle through all 5 LLs 5-6 times before my heat gets bad even on the hot maps. Use the alpha strikes when you have some Joe Derp just standing out in the open stationary.

I use the 5M as a missile Stalker. 4 x ALRM-15, Tag, BAP, 8 tons of ammo (I think), and 4 mediums for backup. It's a bit slow (standard 225), but it isn't supposed to be a brawler. Freakishly effective when providing support from just behind the front line.

Im persoanlly waitng for SRM hit registraton to be fixed before I pilot that mech again. When it registers 5 ASRM6 is brutal though. followed by 4 medium lasers its a 80 point alpha, cant even tell you how many mechs ive one hit within 270 M.

Thank you all for the comments and advice. I Have two great ideas for builds now, the large laser boat and the PPC/SRM/medium laser mix.
