I was trying to download and install MW4: Mercs via this guide:

However, the link to their downloads page is broken. Where else can I download the free release of MW4: Mercs, and possibly MekPak 3.1 also?

I think this should belong in off-topic section, but just use google. Keep searching, somewhere in the hidden should be it. If you haven't tried it, MWLL is also great, just need to find the forums and look up free-release pack.

Sadly, MW4 Mercs got moved to another supposed creator, namely MW4 Foundation Group, and Mektek is now working on Heavy Gear, which is Mechwarrior's rival. Hope I helped.

I managed to find a working link for a standalone package containing MW4 + MP3.1.

I am pretty sure redistributing the free release material is , not that it is no longer free released. Not sure however,. You may thank me when black Micro$oft men come to take you
