Ok, I have all three Atlas' as Elite, so what do I need to get them all Master status?

Yeah once you've finished elite you just get another 21500exp to unlock the extra module slot.

You need 3 of one chassis (atlas in this case) with all the basic efficiencies unlocked to progress to elite.
You need 3 of one class of mech (assault mech in this case) with all the elite efficiencies unlocked to be able to progress to master.
Then you just need the 21500 xp to unlock the module slot.

To unlock Master, will that xp have to be mech? or GXP?

Already got it on my Atlas AS7-D(F), almost close to 78k in Mech XP.
