The color scheme and tiny arms of the Stormcrow (Ryoken) reminds me of this dinosaur:

The Stormcrow is one of my favorite designs, and I like the MWO interpretation, except for the hands.
They look too small, and quite out of place. I agree with the posters suggesting gripping claws would be much more appropriate.
At least the hands should be retractable during fighting, I the current placement the lasers will melt them.

Don't make fun of his tiny hands.

He knows Kung-Fu.

I don't mean to be a necromancer, but I was about to buy Ryoken Ala-Carte when I saw those freaking hands. I knew I couldnt be alone in thinking those hands look ridiculous.

But it's always had those tiny hands in all the art.

Look at it this way. If you don't want any hands, mount ER PPCs or ballistic weapons in the arm pods. An omnimech has to omit lower arm and hand actuators when mounting those weapons

Wait until you see him carrying two boxes of AC20 ammo up the hill to the entrenched Annihilator, you'll change your tune...

All Omnimechs may have hands, depending on their weapons loadout in the arms. (Yes, even mechs like the Daishi may have hands.)

nothing wrong with hands, but currently they look like a skeleton decided to wear a stormcrow suit. other than that the design is absolutely amazing.

To me they seem to be the "Clan ER P!imphands" to properly advise your horseys on how to behave or give a "Clan ER driving-by flying finger" to all those nasty hordes of IS barbarians.

High-fives do not seem clan-like, at least to me :o
