Alright - starting last Thursday (December 19.) I get frequent disconnects displaying the error message "The Session was lost!"
The first time this happened during a match (HPG Manifold)
After that during the next couple of days I had occasional "Session was lost" in the launcher (inconvenient since I was playing with friends)
Today though I get disconnected in 3 out of 5 games during battles (different maps) and also from the launcher.
I have never had any problems running MWO (save for missing textures in Frozen City) but as of today the game becomes unplayable.
I have not suffered any connection issues in other Games and my my PC's (Win7 i5 2500k Geforce GTX 560Ti 8GB) drivers are recent.
I have tried reinstalling MWO completely (new installer downloaded) and cleared the registry. At some point someone suggested turning off Anti Aliasing to prevent disconnects but that didn't help either.

I also read that this is not the first time this issue arose but I really cound't find any solution besides the statement that the servers are currently down... which they clearly aren't since none of my friends are experiencing the same problem.

Same problem here.
The game still writes "The session was lost". It started yesterday (21 December 2013).
Right now I cant log in.
Some friends have the same problem.
Repairtool not found error...
Do you know any solution please?

Wow L3golas -8 Mechbays available... you gotta pay up before you'll be able to use one *laughs*
But I guess you got hit even harder. I had all my mechs show up every time I log back in again. It shows a bit longer than I think it usually did to load everything but they're always accounted for - of course save for that one mech which is still locked in battle.
The problem is that I can get a lost session pretty quickly again - it appears pretty much at random without any sort of lag to announce it - I have the standard 110-120ms in game.

I've been having trouble too. MWO used to be really stable for me, but in the last few days I've been getting "session lost" logoffs a few times a day! This really sucks during a battle, especially.
Once it gave me a 'session lost' right after I logged in to the game...
Hey Devs, please fix this!

Same problem here, no idea how to fix it. Windows 7 Enterprise, i7 2600, 8GB ram. Had issues in the past, but nothing this severe.

It's likely not the servers themselves -- it's the explosion of internet traffic due to lots of people having holidays off and nothing better to do than sit at their computers.
I've had no problems whatsoever, but then again I don't usually play during what others would call peak times.
