I will admit to being such a slacker. I was waiting for some stupid reason and then with Christmas and Thanksgiving nonsense I missed the dead line.
Any chance we get another shot sometime in the future. Just open it up for one day or something.

You can buy the mechs with C-bills, the Battlemaster comes out next month. I'm afraid you've missed the boat on the package, only the clans on the table for now.

I wanted to get the Saber package but didn't want to spend the money on the Phoenix package in order to get it. I thought they were going to offer it as a stand alone deal once the Phoenix mechs dropped. How wrong I was.

I guess the main reason would be the mech bays that come with each mech. Considering how may varients there are this could be a considerable expense even if you can buy the mechs with CBills.
After that I think the premium time as it would give a nice headstart on trying to master them all.

Because it was in the fine print that the Phoenix variant mechs will never be available for sale again. Ever. To bring them back would be to violate the terms of the sale.
