if we could toggle the atlas's eyes on or off, then that would give the atlas pilot the ability to wage psycological warfare on the enemy team (which was part of the original design concept of the mech) it would also be a good representation of the atlas's ability to distract enemy mechs from the table top.
picture an atlas sitting back giving supporting fire to its team, then an enemy comes around a corner and unloads on the atlas, after his alpha strike the atlas is still standing, then suddenly his eyes turn red and he begins to advance on the fool that alhpa'd him.

Yes bring back the 'scary' red eyes... just means I can locate and ping Atlas across maps once again with alot more clarity.

Is that like the 3PV F4 toggle... because I still encounter new players who have no concept that it can be toggled to 1PV, you'll still see them left on indefinitely because well, don't we have enough hot keys for all the consumables?
It's a feature that isn't conductive to gameplay, better option would be to offer the original CB skins of the original 8 mechs. one of those will be the Atlas with glowing eyes before the model revamp for camo/colours. At least offer every other mech something unique to distinguish them, but saying that Atlas ain't the top feeder they once were.

By default it could be turned off, by first use you are getting warning message ''Glowing eye is turned on, you are exposing yourself to the enemies at far distances, press F6 to switch back off'' but dunno if that would work.

Atlas is still very scary when you round a corner and ram into one in anything less that 80tons
and even when you are 80t+ it still makes you consider the situation more than with any other mech
it is still the only 100 tonner in the game
