I average 4 assists per match @ 2500 or so matches, so maybe I'm in. What's the prize?

probably way and beyond that since my kills is 10000 but I hardly ever get more kills than assists...
oh well.

Yey, I'd actually like that to be a trackable stat.

Seconded. On a good match I average 9 assists. Maybe we should petition PGI?

Yes I'm wondering the same thing. If its all about teamwork, why isn't this stat at least visibly tracked. Much less, a stat for targets successfully spotted and engaged?

Or for that matter targets TAG'ed/NARC'ed successfully? I'd like to think this isn't just any old FPS where its all about K/D ratios.

nah, this is just any old fps, hit locations matter more, it takes slightly more time to kill someone than in CoD, otherwise, same ol same ol. A shame really, they could have given us a 5 star restaurant, instead we got mcdonalds.

Contrary to most FPS I've played (I'm thinking here of Qauke, Unreal, Counter Strike, CoD) MW is glacial and works much more on positioning and lines of fire then reaction time and snap shot aiming. Additionally juggling multiple targets (remembering who was weak where when taking shots of opportunity) matters much more.

The whole strategy thing, expecting people who've never played together to cooperate, seems to be impossible. People simply don't have a connection to their team mates that makes them all willing to trust the others. This has been a problem throughout history, I don't expect MWO to solve it.
