Did they mess with the Jenner hit boxes?!

Lately I seem to take a lot of damage in the wrong side of my torso.

When I get hit in the back, it's often my front armour that gets damaged, and occasionally vice-versa

I don't think hitboxes have changed... but it recently received dynamic weapon changes.

I'm sure Paul will answer the hitbox question... someday.

Nope, that has been going on since the closed beta (well, realistically since HSR was added so that players could actually reliably hit the Jenner).

The Jenner is just about a centre torso strapped on top of a pair of fast legs. Add to that the fact that the radar/aerial thing at the top of the mech is counted an centre front torso no matter where you hit it from you get the problem which you experienced. You can still easily hit the front centre torso if you are shooting from behind if you aim for the top of the mech.
