I apologize, Wolves, that CNC's Alpha Galaxy gets the most flashy but pretty paint scheme in the Clans, but at least you never need to deal with Xi Provisional's colors....

It really is fitting with the Wolves theme, though. Yes, clans are all military societies but I always felt as if the Wolves take that almost to an extreme. Very clean cut, precise, and orderly. Not that it is a bad thing. The minimalistic paint schemes being grays does seem to fit the militaristic styling of Clan Wolf, though I am surprised they do not do what most of the Nova Cat galaxies do (aside from Alpha and ... Xi...) and go with terrain appropriate camouflage.

I think the wolves use appropriate camouflage, or flat greys.

EDIT: Well, it was Stackpole who described SJ-colors as grey and black.

Really? The Wolves are described to be among the most liberal Clan when it comes to Zellbrigen (and rituals, see Natasha Keresnky). Envious Clans even describe them as treachearous.

I am a bit surprised as well, but after all almost every Clan uses "parade" paint-schemes. However i do not remember any description of the Wolves camo other than the flat gray of the Golden Keshik on The Rock.

That would be how Envy Chicken Jade Falcon does things.

Wolf is the very opposite of "clean cut and orderly".

The wolf is efficient. That does not mean it has to be orderly.

I am, quite honestly, not sure when we absorbed some Star Adders, but apparently they were given their own galaxy. That freak show paint job is the result. The hilariousness is it does exactly what it was designed to do: upset those who look at the mechs, so that hopefully they can distract them enough to shoot them first.

A Mech with those Novacat-colours, add some stroboscope-lights (to induce epilepsy in charging infantry off course) and some speakers with dubstep (to confuse more puritan attackers)...
