- Celebrities that don't suck.
- Real anime girls.
- BattleTech conventions, with life-size Solaris Arenas where pilots remote control their 'Mech of choice and do combat with real-life BattleTech weapons firing live ammo.
- Riding dragons.
- News outlets that aren't politically biased.
The reason our universe doesn't have all of these awesome things is because Sparks Murphey has to bring them through the locker into our universe, at which point our universe's history re-writes itself to include whatever was brought through. We owe the existence of the Gameboy, the Beoing 747, jazz music, Crayola, Hot Wheels and many, many other things to Sparks for his valiant efforts to improve our existence. These improvements began during the Renaissance, when Spark's great, great, great, great grandfather Sir Sparkson McMurfee discovered the gate in his wardrobe. Thus, the technological and scientific advancements of the Renaissance began.
(Forget famous scientists like Galileo, they were just a bunch of posers.)
However, his mission is far from complete, as Sparks still needs to bring the above items and thousands of other things into our universe. He intends to pass this mission down to his cyborg son in The Real Universe, whom he visits every weekend along with his anime wife, who he swears he married for her personality and not her impossibly awesome animated boobs.
But we all know better.

See how on the original 747, the wings don't curve up...
...but on the ones you see now they do?
StompingOnTanks isn't quite as good a pilot as we'd hoped. Our universe adjusted, though.
