If you really aren't trying to communicate anything.
Do you?

This thread is about Garth. It's not about the RSI Forums, Kong or WoL. Get back on topic or I close this thread down.

We have no idea what went on internally at PGI that resulted in Garth leaving the company.
Yes, they fired him. So? This happens all over the world with someone, for various reasons. Looking at the friendly words for his ex-colleagues on Garths LinkedIn page and the fact, that he is still listed as an admin for the MWO forums after the announcement, tells us that he left on good terms with them. Otherwise he probably would have worded his entry differently and the rest of the staff would be in greater hurry to adjust his status.
So please do not try to make up speculations, based on "evidence", which is at best a biased by opinion observation.
It's a thing between PGI and Garth and we have no say in it and no right to be in the know about the details and we shouldn't speculate about them, as it will lead to nothing.
We can mourn his loss but I hope he keeps playing MWO. He still seems to be active in his Cicada paintscheme thread, which might be an indicator for it.
I only played two matches against him and lost both. He even called me out as the prime target in one of them. I want my revenge for that. So I do hope he remains an active part of the community.
I wish him good luck with his future endeavors and hope he enjoys them!
I get what you're saying, but when a company creates a PR man to be the liaison with the clients and that PR man is popular with the clients, if the company fires him the clients are going to want answers and if the company wants to avoid backlash the answers had better be good.
To be honest, the only official word I've seen on the subject creates more questions than it answers and openly invites wild speculation.

Nope, the company has no obligation to inform anyone about anything regarding their internal policies or it's hiring/firing practices.

Roadie of the "PDF" strikes again.
True on that statement.
But given past histories you would think PGI would learn to throw some rose petals on it.
It would make the heap smell a little bit better.

I'm going to re-open the discussion for now, please get back on topic and keep it respectful.
Thanks!
To the moderators that have posted on this thread and elsewhere, please take note of the professional manner in which miSs expressed the point that was made. As I agree with most of what the moderators have said on this thread, the addition of calling anyone in the playerbase "self righteous", if they are or not, is downright stupid. As is "calling people out" in order to maneuver a thread in the intended direction. As a moderator, you are an ambassador for PGI. Act like it.
/rant off.
On the topic of Garth, I wish him well in his future endeavors.

We oust the Russ, and give Garth Russ' old job.
Shouldn't be too hard to get the financial to buy PGI/IGP.
There're a lot of upset people.

Ooooooor we go for "Operation Garth Strike" and amass a few hundred Cicadas out side PGI and IGP offices and let the havoc commence.
either way this "Operation Garth Strike"is something on throwing together as a community event if the support is there. I was thinking a 12man or two just AAAAALLLLLLLLL CICADAS!!!!!
