We are hoping to run a ToP for two of our hopefuls on the 14th but a sister unit originally slated to bring pilost is no longer avaiable. We are also tenatively running a melee to determine our next Blood Officer.

These things are all doable in one synchronized drop so we are asking abroad on the topic to see if any unit leaders could commit a side to this. We would of course reciprocate with a side to drop in support of your own event on that night or another.

We are not new to these events so it should take very little time to execute. Your unit would merely provide pilots who could disconnect or spectate as they wish, once the event is underway.

Many thanks for your consideration and good hunting.

Why the are you {dezgra} throwing games people might actually want to play? I don't appreciate this. Furthermore, throwing matches is against the rules as specifically stated, you don't push the button unless you intend to play the game.

This is an FPS, not an RPG, and your {Redacted} trial is a bad way to collect bad players and form a bad clan. Maybe you should lose the leadership structure altogether and just let players be equals?

Lukoi,

Despite numb-nuts narrow thoughts, it is good to keep interests in things going on with this game as you can.
Look up Pieper of the Devil Dogs in Steiner Hub if you need some folks.

I am sure we will be able to help.

Where is my [ignore this surat] button?

Let us get to business.

I will make a post in our forum. At what time you look forward to play? Maybe if it is not too late in Europe i could be there to help you

EDIT: strange, i-d-i-o-t is banned but not "idiots".

I am not a Clanner. But, I fully endorse Smoke Adders actions. I am guessing that divedisclaimer does not realize that if two 12-man teams sinc drop together and face each other that it is not wasting anyones time.

No where in my post did I state or even imply we throw matches. If we get dropped against a different 12 than intended we fight them to the finish. I suppose you must also hate RHOD, Proxis, marik league etc if you have a proble with our drops. Regardless, thanks for the feedback. Makes it easy to ID who to add to my ignore list here on forums.

We appreciate the offers for help. I or one of our unit leads will get with you guys to see about potential times to try this. We are hoping for a 2030-2100 EST start time that evening.

So they can put you down for a no for participation then. ;)

Clansmen use to say not being able to speak "properly" is a sign of a lazy mind.. :(

I consider myself an adopted warrior from the Inner Sphere so when i am among other Spheroids i may not drop them :(

Thanks all for the offers. Someone from our unit will contact the units in TS Friday evening at the latest and for individuals I will ensure you have the times in case you would like to come in. The RP portion takes place in TS ahead of the event so there is no delaying the people who are helping with the synch drop....they can literally conduct the drop and then disco or observe as they like.

Sad, i would have felt honored if being allowed to spectate the ritual :P Oh well, i may not even be there at the time, so..

Edit: if you want a tip to add immersion and epicness.. Our Loremaster when acting as Oathmaster used to put in the channel epic music while reading (or actually singing?) the most famous passage of the Clan Wolf Remembrance.

You can still see the ritual portion Cyc...we just do it via TS ahead of the drop. We do not wqnt to waste any of the fifteen minutes :P

Once the reading and replies portion is complete, candidates are sequestered into a channel individually so they have oly their thoughts to guide them during battle. Good immersion factor.

Hey this is a good immersion indeed. It may work against you however if the Oathmaster must stop the duel for any reason or giving a warning or whatever. But who knows.. It may be worth the risk of little issues :)

Why would the OM need to stop the duel? If the drop is synched, no issues

If a candidate violates the instructions, they forfeit the duel. It is really fairly simple once we reach the point of the drop, so no worries there

Rapier, many thanks, I will contact you via PM no later than Friday night with the info to see how many of your Wolves can and are willing to attend!
