This is getting absurd.

There are two versions of the Grid Iron, the normal and the Limited Edition. You get the cheerleader bobblehead with the limited edition, but it costs 500 MC more.
Now what the hell? I always thought the cheerleader was included in the price, not something extra you need to pay. The ad had nothing mentioned about two versions and extra costs.
So the ad says that the Limited Edition is on sale till February 4th with the bobblehead. What did you expect to pay after the 4th? The same price or a different price?

Which, in turn, raises the question: will there be later cheerleader bobbleheads in different uniforms to represent the different factions (e.g. AFFS cheerleader in red & yellow, LCAF cheerleader in blue & silver, etc)?

Was surprised by it
First Build
XL265
AC10 2 tons ammo
2ML
LRM 10 Artimes 2 tons ammo
Tag
Killed 4 between the first 3 matches before I was CT'd
Found 3 other good builds around the XL265 but didn't play with each one enough to get a feel for them.
All in all turned out to be a great buy.
Note to those who are not seeing it-
There are 2 versions of this mech listed in Mechlab.
Grid Iron (no bobble head cheerleader)
Grid Iron Limited Edition (with bobble head cheerleader) (limited time available and bobble head is already mounted in the mech)

This might be a real shocker, but not everyone is a competive-level player or cares. Some people feel like playing something that is fun for them, has nostalgic value, or millions of other reasons.
Be careful, your ego is showing

They explained a while back that the early Jan patch was going to be light. The first patch in February is the one to wait for.
You can repeat this until the end of time, but the whiners will just cover their ears and make noises.

So you replace the Gauss Rifle with an LB10x and then replace the XL with a standard engine and you will have a pretty decent medium mech.

I see only one problem here. The 46 front 2 rear for the left side isn't such a good idea. I have to test it to see if the hitboxes were changed, but that 'fuel tank' thingy on the left side? Before this patch if you hit that from the front it counts as rear side. Given how short the Hunchback is, it's real easy to hit that and make it go boom.
Let's find out if that's still a problem/weakness.
In the mean time, here's what I'll be trying.
Based loosely on my most successful 4G rig ever where this was the first run I've ever done with it. (Chase cam by Lordred in his camera commando. Other voices aside from mine are simply listening in from teamspeak while playing World of Tanks).
Score that faithful day.
Here's to hoping for similar success!
Was your 4G also using the LB 10-X and XL275?

I doubt it takes the entire staff to re-skin a mech and slap some new hard-points on it.
