It seems that the renderer fix broke texturing in some cases. Most notably, I miss the sky. I cleared my user.cfg, cleared the shader cache, and ran the repair tool -- no change. And no, my GPU and drivers are not broken. Skyrim looks fine.

Note the invisible mechs in the third screenshot. This looks like the Frozen ****** texture glitch extended to many other textures.

You could run your settings on high, and disable vsync... I had a i3 CPU and a system very similar to your build 6850 GPU (overclocked) and it ran without serious issues with textures before I upgraded my system a bit... my FPS was mid 20's, but very playable

Telling a poweruser to "try different settings" here. I have. It did not help.

Then file a ticket with the Support Team dude... I was simply offering advice from my experience with a very similar issue in the past during CB that I didn't care to go into detail about and decided to get directly to a solution that worked for me. But it's cool, carry on.

Tried all the simple and intermediate steps. Finally, I uninstalled the game, manually removed all registry entries, and installed again. That helped.
