Hi

The latest patch should limit the UI FPS speed to 60 fps but this seems not the case.
Since the last patch the FPS shows about 66.6 fps in the UI.
Spoiler

Does anyone else observe this?
Is this a hidden secret massage from the dark side of power? lol

The max FPS on the maps is not limited to 66.6 and can exceed more fps.
When i use "sys_MaxFPS = 60" in the user.cfg the FPS on the maps is 66.6.

The Setup here has not changed before or after the patch.
-desktop res.: 1920x1080 60hz
-no user.cfg
-default driver settings

MSI Afterburner and FRAPS does also show the same FPS (66.6) in the UI

awesome observation! I'll put a sticky to investigate this and report back when I can, just because it's so strange, now I am curious!

The FE is capped at 60FPS, however looks like the way the FPS is being reported is wrong. If your computer can handle it set your sys_MaxFPS = 80 and you should see 80 FPS only in the game, FE will always be capped at 60 FPS.

The initial setup of Crytek had mistake this has been corrected. The cap was there but how they were doing the cap had a mistake in it. This has been corrected and will be in the next patch.

Cest7 if you want to do a test set your sys_MaxFPS = 30 and you should see roughly 32 FPS.

That's my experience: Set to 35, get 36.7; Set to 40, get 42; Set to 60, get 65; Set to 70, get 75. Posted Image

Confirmed, sys_maxfps 30 gives 31.2.
