It seems to me that if each part of the mech had a different reticule and hit point that would go along way to weapon balancing. Right arm, left arm, and torso's would each have their own reticule. If you have a AC20 on each arm you no longer could do 40 damage in one spot because one may miss if close or both may hit at farther distances but would hit different parts of the oppsoing mech. There is no convergence. You shoot one, then move your torso to line up the other. Just a thought.

Not only would that be ridiculously tedious, but would just force everyone into playing mechs with more focused hardpoints.
