Hmmm...don't see another post with workaround starting mwo client from command line. Oh well as long folks get it working.

I am having the same issue. Downloaded the patch on Tuesday. went to play with my boyfriend Domoneky (MWO player) Last night at 8pm PST and it wanted me to patch it took 10 hours for that. this morning I went to play at 7am PST It wanted me to patch so I sent support an email. now to wait another 10 hours for this patch to finish

Whenever a patch comes out I usually just uninstall and then reinstall the entire game. It seems to be just as fast and way more bug free with a fresh install. Might try it.
