Nope.
Don't confuse ease of use with the ability to use them well.
Anyone can load up an AC 20 or gauss, a crapton of ammo and spray away thinking they have skill as they rip apart friend and foe alike. It could be argued that to be effective with LRMs require more skill because you have terrain mitigation to deal with, where with AC, you have your target in your sights.
If you "spray away" with AC20s or Gauss, you may do mediocre damage, but aside from powered down mechs won't kill anyone and just pump your ammo all over the area. Just because we are able to hit an enemy with said weapons were we want to hit him most of the times doesn't make it easy to use. It's a skill that's hard to master, contrary to LRMs where you only have to learn to pick targets that are in the open or engaged in a brawl.

Ad hominem gets you far, 10 out of 10

And that's harder than using lasers, ACs or streaks exactly how?

And still it's extremely easy to use and guaranteed damage with every salvo. So what's your point?

No they don't, they need different skills than ACs, not more. But keep on calling me god, better than insulting me like in your first sentence.

No they are not. I wonder in which Elo bracket you're playing, but in mine enemy mechs usually move.

Gee, I wonder what you'd need to place a full alpha on the legs of a light mech. Oh, right, skill.

Lasers and LRM's especially mean you have to hope your opponent is bad (no twisting) and you have to hold target during the burn/flight leaving you open to all kinds of reprisal.
That's true. The pay-off for all that pointed damage though is the skill required to hit the right spot, which is not easy by any stretch of the imagination.

Or you play smart and have a bunch of buddies yourself keeping the enemy from doing that, and some backup weapons to defend yourself.
