Another desperate attempt to lure out few more bucks without doing anything. PGI's managment looks so consistent in learning nothing.

Edit: wanna free tip, Russ? Sell for MC tickets for double/triple/quadruple/whatsoever XP tournaments (4vs4, 8vs8, 12vs12, free for all, etc) with C-Bills rewards performed regularly for different timezones. Of course it's not Solaris, but call it 'backstreet Mech fights at the middle of somewhere' and viola, you add some casual interest to the dead game which could draw more players. But even such slight change still requires to lift somebody's arse from the chair, so I'm not sure it suits for PGI's style.

How does a standard weekend sale qualify as desperate? Perhaps I am missing something but I really don't see any desperation here. Sure the sale might not be one of the more stellar ones in that there are no Hero Mechs on sale but from previous sales I generally don't ever remember seeing Hero mechs go one sale the same week a new one is introduced.
