Does Target Info Gathering reduce lock on time?
I've seen a Viktor last game who was locking on the Streaks in no time. Compared to my Kintaro at least and I thought I had anything you can have to reduce the lock on time to a minimum:
Beagle

I also have 360 Target Retention and Target Decay equiped, but I think they don't have anything to do with lock on time.

Did I miss anything?

TAG and Narc also reduce lock on time. But Narc sucks.

Ah yeah,
I'm sure he didn't use those either. Any other way to reduce the lock on time?

I think Artemis has a bug that makes it reduce lock time for streaks like it does for LRM. I don't know if they have fixed this yet.

They haven't so abuse away :).

To the OP; target info gathering doesn't reduce lock time. The only things that do are TAG, Narc and Artemis. That victor was almost certainly using art.

Hmmmm, the extra tonnage and slots don't really seem to be worth it to me.

Are you referring to Artemis? If so Artemis doesn't increase the tonnage or crit slots of streaks because it shouldn't be affecting streaks in the first place but it does because of the way PGI implemented the lock on mechanics. So excluding the c-bill cost Artemis is essentially a "free" upgrade for streaks at present.

Yes it was artemis, helps alot with streak lock on time Tag also helps. I think tag does 25% faster? Also advanced target decay is good with streaks because if an fast light goes over a hll 2-3 seconds before you, you will still have lock and be able to fire.
