Ability To Change Hero Mech Camo Patterns
#1

I am a female player --- and I am a quite beginner. I decided to purchase a hero mech because of the bonuses I get from matches, that extra 30% really makes a difference when trying to keep pace with my husband and his buddies who have much more play time than I do.
My point is this. I am not interested in being in a "recognized" mech. I decided to go ahead and buy it but really want the pattern to be the same as my other mechs -- something that kind of just blends into the fray. I am not happy about running around with "From Hell" plastered across my chest!
I don't mind that I paid money but I want the ability to change the mech to be comfortable playing it.
thanks much!

The camo is part of the selling point and "brand" of Hero's though, so I doubt they're in a hurry to give us alternate camo's.
p.s.
I THINK you should automatically own the default green. But I'm not sure if it's available to Hero's.

Maybe you want to join forces in one thread? Maybe we get more attention this way.

A big part of my problem is that I am a bit opposed to the whole "From Hell" tag. I like this game over others because it is a thinking-man's game. We are not shooting humans, or human-like, or animals, or aliens, or alien-like. We are in big machines pitting wit and skill against one another. I like that and I don't believe I am alone in this view. The "From Hell" tag just gets me going down a whole other line of negativity which isn't part of my game enjoyment.
As far as trademark/advertising the hero mech build, it is still going to show Jagermech-FB in the lineup. But out in the playing field I would much prefer to just be anonymous. I don't see the negative to the developers or game. I've paid for the mech, I enjoy it, I support it. Why can I not have my own paint if I choose?
I get that the whole bad-*** hero mech paint job is part of the selling point ... just not for me. And I'm not asking that they stop with any of that. That's great ... I just think I should be able to change it if I have a preference.
So ... I'm asking this be considered. From a developer's standpoint it is an easy fix ... it doesn't require 'new' programming, just that the hero mechs be treated the same way as the other mechs in the mech lab.
I know I'm not the only one asking for this because I've seen many other posts in the forums. Just asking again

My response this morning to my support ticket was specifically this:

Hello marepinta,
Your feedback and suggestions are appreciated! However to better reach the developers with your ideas and suggestions, please post here: http://mwomercs.com/...al-discussions/ - please choose the appropriate sub-section.
Please be aware that even though the devs do read the forums and especially the suggestions one, they rarely reply to any thread so they can concentrate on actually building the game. Also, the community representatives read all forum posts and compile then send to the devs the most relevant and constructive feedback on a weekly basis.
As one can imagine, if the devs start responding to everything, it would become a never-ending back and forth, and game development itself would suffer because of this.

Therefore, I came here and started a new thread. I believe the more NEW threads we post on this subject, the more likely they will get attention. The reason I believe this is that often 'discussions' in threads tend to veer off course to one thing or another and likely Devs do not have time to read entire threads of various opinions. However, numerous threads on the same request point to numerous folks having a start-up say about a particular item. I understand completely that this is against polite forum etiquette ... but ... what else to do???

Next time, add your voice to an existing thread. Less likely to get moderated that way.

BTW good to see some female players on the forums. We need more of those to balance out the {Dezgra} boy-children

I can understand why you wouldn't want that on your mech. If you use the right color combination, "From Hell" is barely visible. It'll just bleed into the other color.
