LCT-1E 6ML You still go 155 Kph, and you can drop the MLs for SPLs, and have better heat management. Each arm is it's own weapon group, and make sure both weapon groups are set to chain fire. Also, if you can handle running 4 weapon groups, then put 2 more groups, one for the alpha strike of each arm on it's own.
You're a CDA-2A for half the tonnage, and more speed, and nimbleness.
LCT-1M The SRMs need to be used carefully, that's 8 missiles per salvo, and they deal good damage, so fire them when you're sure. It's also best to fire them in chain mode.
LCT-1M This has more ammo, smaller salvos, but 2 energy weapons, giving it better staying power.

i did 1ML, 1SRM 4 and 1 LRM5 for a bit too- was the first step down from dual LRM5s because of lights getting close and needing a bit more of a deturrent than a measly 1ML.

3S is went to 1 ERLL and 1 SRM 2.
1E i swap between 2MPL 4SL or 6 SPL with 170XL ( have speed tweak)
the 3m with the LL is actually working quite well. you can help at the beginning and then hit quickly and kinda hard with the SL and if needed get a nice alpha.
also, using the locusts has given me a love for the Pulse lasers. I really like using them over lasers at least in the small and medium varieties. that faster duration really helps me pinpoint parts better just sucks their range is les..

Ah good sir, how could you forget the FF? Gotta squeeze every once outta that 20 tons!
Like this modfied version of the 1M. Due to lack of CB, I am running the same with 180XL I had handy and buffed head armor.
Also found I lost some of my touch driving these things.

Worked this over too to make the faster 1E. Gotta have that AMS, cannot drive without it (tried long time ago, didn't like it). Adding AMS forces weapon changes bringing better heat management. Can swap SPLs for MLs or 2SLs + 2MPLs.

I also do 2 MPL and 4 SL with mine though I'm usually running the 170xl now.

I like the 6SPL build, it's a lot of fun. My build for the 3M is 5SPL, and it is hilariously effective. With the Locust's speed, and the high speed of the missiles (making them not as good at turning and tracing) it is easy to dodge LRM volleys with the LCT chassis.

3M, I best ran 3ML & TAG first until I got used to it, then 4ML. Great for Alpha Sniping while running by the target.
