The forums seems flooded by random senseless posts, rantings, personal conversations etc

Could we see a 5post limit per-day might make people think before spamming out the boards?

Throttling forum post numbers is a good way to kill a community.

Many people over the course of 24 hours have constructive things to post, so a 5 post limit is quite counter productive.

Some people have time on their hands, just because you do not and are jelly, does not mean to cap... and 5 posts? REALLY? MAYBE 25, but yeah as said that would slaughter this fantastic cropping up community. There are some junk posts, but **** I like to try and read as much as i can and respond to it if I feel it is relevant. Yeah okay sometimes my posts are a sentence, or me agreeing with someone. Welcome to the free world. I know we have a lot of Jaguars on this site, but I do not think the Devs are SJ, and do not see this forum as being wasteful

Some people just love the fact there is a new community of Mechwarriors, I personally think it is amazing as it is mechwarrios dating as far back as Battledroids! WE ARE MECHWARRIORS!

Well maybe 5 is a bit strict but 90% of the forum is dominated about 5% "Here be the internet, I haz an opinion on everything" post count strokers.

I know everyone ones as excite as me. However the forums are a soup of randomness, I demandz.. and speculations. So soupy in fact I don't bother to read them and just follow Bryan using this link and discuss things back on Mektek where there's less HBTIIHAOOE's

What did you think would happen when 20k of people who love a franchise are going to do.. Everyone has a idea and wants to share it.

IF ANYTHING this has to have Russ and Bryan dancing for joy. I bet they expected half the response they got. They know the are being watched very closely now.

It's okay to skim, and choose good posts from others but I think there are ignore lists for people who don't present relevant conversation. I'm trying pretty hard to make posts that have at least something to contribute, even if I'm making a lot of them.

Somehow methinks Coffi drinks a lot of coffee. OR, he is very excited about this upcoming title.

Amarus sounds that excited while training Cadets in vent. It is fun!

Lastly, you do not need many Jaguars, just one Amarus will do.

Dang, beaten to the punch. Several times.

Five posts a day is an absurd limit. I don't have any clue what my current post count is (because it's not important), but it's a heck of a lot more than five a day. Checking my profile tells me it's actually something like 31 per day. Maybe one or two of those have been random conversation. Some of the people on this forum are absolutely full of words.

Given we are so far away from the game, the forum is all there is so limiting it seems counter-productive
