Need to add the ablitity to disable UI Sounds quite annoying. UI is too cluttered and just plain confusing. Have played since closed beta this is a step backward. Now I'm kind of scared to have this come out. There is so much wrong with it I don't even know where to start...

->no Option in the Options

ALT+TAB for Windows works for me fine...

I an a joystick user and there was no place to map the joystick buttons. I tried to map the pitch and twist to my joystick but there was no response to my z movement for torso twist or any other joystick directions. The current UI there is a column for the joystick mapping. Also there is no place to invert the joystick pitch.

So here is my list
  • No way to see weapon loadout anywhere but in the loadout tab
    This is really an issue when purchasing mechs
  • The font is hard to read
  • The equipment type icons/colors need to applied across the whole UI
    In the current implementation how is anyone supposed to know what icons indicate ECM/AMS
  • An option to view full loadout and not individual locations would be nice

It's called the mech details screen, look it up. It's coming.

Summary: SRM4+A is shown with 6 Launch tubes on Orion Protector
Description: I just bought the Orion Protector and did remove FF-Armor and added ES-Structure. Then I stripped all weapons and did put in dual AC5, dual LL and dual SRM6+A. After playing one game I did remove the dual AC5 for a Gauss Rilfe and according ammo. Also removed the dual LL for dual PPC. And did remove the dual SRM6+A fpr dual SRM4+A. But then one of the SRM launcher on the mech modell still did show 6 launch tubes instead of 4 as seen in picture below.

current mechlab has a loadout of your mechs current weaponry and equipment.

UI.2.0 lacks this loadout list for the weaponry but maintains the equipment.....
weapon loadout was only found after clicking the weapons grouping tab, is this supposed to be where you see your gun loadout or is it actually ment to be in the equipment list?

I have a bit of a list to add to all the feedback here.
  • Nvidia Dawn Bobblehead missing
  • Razor Dice hanging item missing.
  • No heatsink requirement warning when fitting an engine >255 rating.
  • Cannot see the default weapon loadout of a 'Mech when purchasing.
  • No indication of the current number of heatsinks fitted.
  • Dragging to un-equip items inconvenient, please add double click like we have in UI1.0.
  • Having to go back from Loadout to Upgrades inconvenient, add to same section please. In fact Loadout should include upgrades and modules.
  • 'Mech hardpoints are not clear, change the icon to text please.
  • There's no save 'Mech loadout button, have to go to weapon grouping before it tells you to save the loadout then change weapon groups.
  • Ambiguous warning when trying to launch with an invalid loadout (usually heatsinks) this needs to be made clearer.
  • MechLab only warns you once for an invalid loadout, trying to launch again just makes the play button flash.
  • Camo colour selection is long winded, having to scroll through them is a pain. A colour chooser with a drop down for Basic/Owned/Unlocked would be better.
  • From an aesthetics point of view, the slots on the 'Mech appear too flat making it awkward to see where a module/device ends and free slots start.
  • No indication of free slots (available/dynamic)
  • Bars for speed/weight/heat etc at the bottom right need to placed top right and made clearer/larger.
  • Just a pernickety one this, can we have an exit button instead of having to logout then exit. I'm lazy, i want to quit the game in one click not two ;)
  • Cockpit glass is buggy, on the Raven 3L I had it on side windows only, on the 4x all windows.
  • Store price change warning locking user out of MechLab to update, this should be made a transparent background function, with a popup warning. Its just intrusive at the moment.

In order of perceived importance from most to least:

Players are failing to load the map or connect with vastly increased frequency compared to live version- I found myself in an 8v12 match, and only had one match where nobody failed to load.

There were points at which I was able to hover my cursor over a button (particularly when in the Escape menu during a match after dying) and trigger a looping repeat of the bleep that sounds when the cursor is moved over a button.

When piloting my Orion, the glass effect for the main panel while on the HPG map was very intense, but it vanished entirely when I entered shade and did not return at all afterwards. The glass effect for the side canopy panels was very intense and remained that way the whole match.

The Quickdraw, Blackjack, Centurion, and Highlander did not appear to have cockpit glass.

After buying a new mech, the MechTree is temporarily not available for that mech

Description:
  • bougth a VTR-9S to get a third mech besides my VTR-9B and VTR-DS
  • wanted to immediately unlock all basic efficencies via GXP
  • no MechTree button below the VTR-9S in the skill-menu (mech available in the Mechlab)
  • bought a VTR-9K to check
  • same issue
  • played a match
  • issue solved, the MechTree is available for VTR-9K and VTR-9S

OK, thoughts....looks good.

Summary: - Friends List incomplete
Description: From Match to match, each time the FRIENDS LIST loads, it is different
Location: Friend's List
Reproduction Rate: 100%
Steps to Reproduce: Just load a match, exit and look at Friend's list and different people there.

MECH LAB:

Summary: Mech's With No Engine
Description:No Easy way to see if a Mech has an Engine or not beyond squinting at the lower Right of Screen with mech Selected to see if Speed says 0kph or some other number
Location:MECH LAB
Reproduction Rate:100%
Steps to Reproduce:No need to reproduce, every mech is represented this way.

Other issues with mech Lab that is more an after thought
  • There is no way (that I could see) how to tell what the load out/hard point assignment is for any particular mech, For example, it would be nice to know that my Raven 3L has certain weapons equipped.
  • No way to see what equipment (modules or Cockpit items) are equipped. It would be nice to see how many modules of what I have, what is available and which ones are equipped where.
  • Still no way to sell excess armor....unless this is now free to equip/unequip.
Summary: Can't chat in pre Match READY Screen
Description:At the prematch Load In screen cannot type in the chat window, whether ALL, TEAM or SQUAD, until the match has begun. Once mech Start Up has begun then chatting is available.
Location:MATCH START SCREEN
Reproduction Rate:100%
Steps to Reproduce:Every Match was the same issue with Pre Match chat.


GAME SETTINGS

Summary:Keyboard Settings - MOUSE WHEEL
Description:Can't assign MOUSE WHEEL as a valid option. This is a feature many have been asking for over and over again (for ZOOM/UNZOOM), and beyond manually adjusting the .cfg file, have not had this feature since the early days of Closed Beta.
Location: Keyboard in SETTINGS
Reproduction Rate:100%
Steps to Reproduce:No Reproduction necessary, simply not able to assign Mouse Wheel

Huge shaders error yellow screen when loading the first launch.

In a group of three, one launched, other disconected and the other remained at the mechlab.

The list of friends is completely awkwards. Half the friends in my list are not there.

Extremely small friends button. Sometimes the button does not work.

Everything is unintuitive.

CONs

Too many clicks to Do anything
-profiecencies require 3 clicks, purchase, okay, (purchasing), okay
-No paperdoll for mechlab
-unneccesary pictures of items
-grid of pictures
- use the space of the "pictures" to put a full mech paperdoll and go back to the compact list of items
-Cannot double click items from paperdoll
-Pilot tree has scroll bar for one extra row, why not make it one bar longer?
-Hover over a mech the "diamond" armor, tonnage, heat, firepower|| firepower is out of ratio and impossible to tell a difference between 0-50
-alt+tabbing mouse on screen bug still exsist
-no "configure mech" option Directly from "Home"
-If you click on a module the Description will never come up, it will only come up if you Hover over it it click and then place your mouse back over. Same goes for anything in the purchasable menu.
-Cannot View loudouts of mech unless you are in the mech
-Owned mechs in mech filter: Trial mechs, i do not own them i do not want to see them.
-Paint selection is worse then the old one.
-Tease with the selection check menu upon play now
-no windshield wipers or fluid
-row / grid selection doesnt work
-Cicada standing cockpit items sticks into dashboard (halloween pumpkin is almost gone)

Summary: Lack Of Joystick support
Description: In settings there is no joystick support at all. I use the throttle portion of the Cougar HOTAS, as I have most of the Keys mapped to it as well as Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals for stearing Left and right.
