If I leave a match early (due to death :P will I receive exp and c-bills for kill assists that happen after I exit the match? My guess is no but can we get a clear answer to it?

I understand that I get all the c-bills and exp up to the point I leave the match, what about after I exit the game.

I saw the post explaining this after I hit post B)

While only PGI is 100% sure (and they don't seem to have ever answered this), generally when you exit a match, your and XP earnings are mostly frozen. So, any kills and assists you have already earned, you will get, and the only thing remaining is any winning/losing earnings. However, if someone you damaged is later killed, you will not get an additional assist. I'm unsure about how salvage money works (or if you even get it).

not true ... several posts here, including official ones. The answer is you get everything except assist bonuses for players not yet dead. So if you shoot a guy and he dies after you leave the match, you don't get that assist. You get everything else. Win bonus, c bills, etc. This is assuming you disconnect after you are killed! If you leave before being killed, you get nothing. So those disconnects that happen without your action ... those are hurting you. But leaving after you are killed, you still get everything except the assist bonuses.

Edit Clarification: Specifically in the case of being destroyed: You will still receive your match rewards assuming you disconnected after the death screen..

His earlier statements about receiving nothing are in regards to people dropping into a match and disconnecting ("farming"). Maybe we can get a fancy command Chair update with some real clarification, since Niko retracts his statement without being 100% clear

I knew there was some ambiguity in there somewhere.

Yep, basically if it shows up in the lower left part of your screen during play, you got that and if you disconnect after getting killed that is still yours. However, anything that is calculated at the end game screen such as damage, assists after death ... etc. requires you to remain in game.
